002: Ring ring, phone call for Mrs. Harvelle
Open because Stiles can't work the comm properly yet.
Uh... hey, is that Ellen?
[Behold Stiles' most charming smile. Which is actually pretty darned charming, considering how much practice it's gotten with getting him out of sticky situations.]
So, I was talking to a guy who said that talking to you would be a good place to start if I was looking into learning how not to get my ass kicked. Because not gonna lie, that would be useful information for me to have, considering my history.
I'm Stiles, by the way.

Re: [ Action ]
It's worse than a freaking Windows phone I swear to God
Also why didn't you just come in and tell me? You're like right next door to me right now. ...Aren't you?
[ Audio ]
[ But he's not wrong, he is next door, lounging around on his bed. ]
It involved getting up.
Re: [ Audio ]
[He sounds all of the miffed, because it's technology, and technology is cheating on him with Derek - and probably the whole Cape - and he's insulted.]
You lazy ass. You're just gonna sit there and patronise me over this thing because you're too lazy to get up?
[ Audio ]
[ Which means he'll come and help, if he must, and it took him some help getting the hang of it, he's just not going to mention that. ]
It's comfortable. If you want me to show you, come here.
Re: [ Audio/Action ]
[His feet thud against the floor, twice as loud as needs be, as he gets up and makes his way to Derek's room.]
[ Action ]
When you fall through the ceiling, don't expect me to catch you.
Re: [ Action ]
[He has, at least, learned how to cut the feed. Which he does now, as he walks into Derek's room, scowling but without any real force.]
[ Action ]
Who's Ellen?
Re: [ Action ]
She runs the bar. Or lives there. Or, both, I guess. I was... gonna look her up and see if she could, uh, give me some pointers.
So, teach me how to fly this thing?
[ Action ]
Okay. [ He pushes himself up into a sitting position, gestures for Stiles to come join him on the bed, his own now in his hand. ]
Re: [ Action ]
[ Action ]
Got it?
Re: [ Action ]
[No-one ever said he wasn't a quick study. He copies what Derek did, making a call to the Alpha's device.]
Testing. Testing. Sourwolf, do you read me? Come in, Sourwolf.
[ Action ]
Stiles? Shut up.
Re: [ Action ]
[But he does, ending the call with a beep, and idly going through the motions to call the rest of the Pack - insofar as it is at the moment - without actually making the calls.]
[ Action ]
[ His features have softened up a little, but he still seems a little cautious in asking. ]
Re: [ Action ]
[He gives another little rolling shrug and stands.]
Unless there was anything else you could think of?
[ Action ]
[ And yet he looks as if there's something he wants to say but isn't. ]
Re: [ Action ]
[ Action ]
When he realises he's hanging back, he sighs, opens and closes his mouth, and then settles with a quiet: ]
I could teach you.
Re: [ Action ]
[But he figures that Derek's not talking about the device, and something in him shifts. The restlessness, the pull between 'stay' and 'go' settles down. Leaving him still there.]
[ Action ]
I meant with training.
