What are you doing? [Another head pokes in from the side of the screen. Carrie just seems incredibly nervous.] Be careful, you might break it...

It's something I can do. It's very rare I meet someone and don't know their name.

Survive is a good place to start - there are other plans, I'm sure, but generally work together to survive.

[She bites her lip but then stops, no fear. She has to be able to survive after all.]

What do we have to do?

It depends on what you are used to. Food is a bit scarce, but some of us hunt or fish, others farm and gather, and between all of us, no one goes hungry.

[ They may not be full or have what they want, but no one goes hungry, and Raphael makes sure the children have enough to eat. ]

Food is the main concern, winter will make it worse but we'll manage.

Medical care is a bit limited, so if you are injured or unwell it's best to speak up sooner than later - smaller problems are easier to take care of.

What clothing we have is what we have so it's important to take care of your belongings.

[ It's gentle and Raphael tries to make it sound less daunting. ]

How...big is this place?

It's small. A little over a dozen homes, some other buildings, and the woods. Stay out of those ok? There are very dangerous animals in there.
