[She swallows and licks her lips, then describes where it is.]

I'm staying with Derek and Stiles.

[She manages not to yelp, but she does look up, tears in her eyes. She's going crazy and she doesn't like it.

Her parents are nearby. Her father stands military straight, watching her as she has a hand on the Chronicle. Her mother sits in a chair in the corner, her head cocked to one side, just watching for now.]

[ He reached over, placing a palm on her forehead. A gesture of comfort for the blessed, a gesture of dead for the damned. But he strokes her hairline softly with his thumb, then slides his hand down to cup her cheek and chin - that is a gesture that all the angels seem to have with their younger siblings when they are trying to comfort them. ]

[ He doesn't key to what Brigid is seeing immediately, but give him a moment. ]

[She closes her eyes and leans into the touch. It isn't that she's touch-starved. Well, not really. This keeps going on, and she's dragging mattresses into the living room and the guys can just deal. She swallows and looks up, seeing her father. He swells with pride and actually smiles a bit. That's fine, but... she's not sure where he came from.]

They... My parents are here.

[ Raphael turns to look - and whether it's the mental link the shared dreams created or being an archangel, or both, he sees them. ]

[Her mother looks kind, warm, the type of mother to get dirty with the children. Her father has the military stance, but he doesn't look unkind. Just... blank.]

They aren't supposed to be. They're... I got over their deaths. I moved on, like they say you should. Why are they here?

[ Currently locked away in his own room, Derek sees the feed and watches it, frowning as he does so, because it doesn't bode well. Earlier in the day, he thought he saw a glimpse of something out of his eye corner, but when he took a proper look, there was nothing - no one - there, and even if there had been, he knows it's not possible.

He's been trying to shove aside the thoughts all morning, but he knows he can't leave Brigid alone when she's openly asking for help.

Not long after the video hit the network, Derek knocks lightly at her door and waits; he knows she probably heard him approach, so he leaves the option there in case she doesn't want his particular company. ]

[She jerks, causing a cascade of papers to the ground. She can almost see the huffed out sigh her father expels and digs the heels of her hands into her eyes.]

Come in, Derek.

[She doesn't move her hands and refuses to look up. Her parents will be looking at her and Brigid is a good, religious girl. Ghosts are not a thing that should be happening.]

[She immediately shakes her head, her eyes darting around her room.]

I think I ate something weird? Maybe? It'll filter out. I just... I'd just really like to stay in my room with books.

Unfortunately I've not found any books yet. Keep pushing fluids. If you feel you need my assistance, I can visit your room.
