Video/Action | Day 132 | Open
[When she opened her eyes again, Sarah found herself in a room. Not her room, but a room. She was back in her jeans thank goodness. That dress had been uncomfortable. But where was she. It had to be somewhere in the Labyrinth.
She sat up and looked to the nightstand. A... thing sat there. A thing with an inviting button. She picked it up and pressed it only to hear a message telling her welcome to the Science Center, that it was her new home, and to enjoy her stay. She pushed a few more buttons and accidentally turned on the video broadcast without realizing it.]
Video
[The camera is trained on the ceiling when it opens up, but it moves around, occasionally landing on a girl's face. It's as though she's turning the thing around.]
New home? That's not right. This is some sort of trick. Hoggle? Ludo?
[Silence... the camera stops facing a wall.]
I wonder what's outside the door. Come on feet. We can't find Toby or the Goblin City unless we start walking.
[The video shakes as she steps. A door opens and closes. Now the viewer is staring down a hallway.]
My name is on the door? But that's... this whole place is wrong. It's not at all like the rest of the labyrinth...
[Back to a wall, it's clear the person with the phone has started walking. When she talks next, her voice is raised as she shouts for someone.]
Hoggle? Ludo!.... Sir Didymous? Are any of you there? We have less than a half hour...
Action
[Sarah can be found wondering the halls looking for her friends or a way out if you encounter her.]

[Now there's clearly a bald-faced lie. Garrett's too small and far too mouthy to rely on brute strength alone. His brain is the only way he's able to survive back home.]

[He returns her smile, his grin a little more wild and feral around the edges. Having someone else in the same boat he's in could be an asset or a hindrance. It's just because he's still so new and alone, but Garrett definitely sees Sarah as the former.]

[He abruptly turns and starts off down one of the hallways, not even turning to see if Sarah is there. He just assumes she is. Anyone hungry won't be wasting time, or at least, he wouldn't.]
no subject
[Sarah runs to catch up with him.]
I don't know your name yet! [She laughs as she says it, falling in step beside him.]
no subject
It is Garrett.

[She looks around as they walk, trying to remember where they're going.]
How long have you been here?
no subject
[He scratches a spot on his neck, sliding his hand beneath the grey-furred pelt.]
A few hours at most. Hard to judge the time without seeing the sun.
no subject
So not very then.
[Darn, she'd been hoping he'd be able to tell her more about this place.]
But you've managed to find the kitchens already I see.
no subject
[He gives an impish grin.]

Then I'm glad I'm following you.
