[ Kevin's been working for a few days without sleep on the tablet, so when he wakes up, he figures he must've just passed out from exhaustion. He gets all the way to sitting up before he realizes that he isn't in the bunker.

When the feed switches on, it starts first staring up at the ceiling, while in the background, someone is very clearly laying waste to the bookshelf in their room. Kevin steps into the frame as he swings the shelf he'd ripped out to use as a weapon, and he decides it's acceptable before he sets it down. He has a bunch of papers, and as he puts them into an empty pillowcase, the cuneiform symbols can just be seen for what they are -- that is, ancient and unreadable.

He reaches for his shelf again, and now his face fully comes into frame. He looks like a guy who hasn't slept or eaten real food in a few days, with an added couple layers of complete panic. He has no clue where he is, who might've kidnapped him, what they want to use him for, but beneath the panic there's determination.

He made it this far; he won't let them win now.

Once he realizes the phone is broadcasting, he curses loudly and switches it off.

This plan would probably have gone a lot better if he hadn't been Skyping it. ]

[ nice for him, maybe. charlie on the other hand is some hunter in training with a penchant for research and is meeting the prophet. who used to write books. and is now apparently an asian kid who looks like he hasn't slept in years.

but hey at least she knows some of this! ]

There's a lot of us here from home, actually. Sam, Dean, a whole lot of angels and Meg. Which is really kind of weird, yeah, but logic and these guys don't make a lot of sense.

[ Kevin, on the other hand, would very much like to not be involved. It's more fun when he gets to help with research, he guesses, but then he also doesn't get much choice about that, either. Dean and Sam just kind of call him up and expect him to help them right then. ]

Angels, huh? [ That could be good or bad, depending on how they feel about their prophets. ] I guess I should get used to people moving me around like some kind of chess piece.

[ obviously they should be study buddies. that's what that means, right? ]

Yeah- apparently most of them are dicks, but I also don't know how much I trust Dean's dick-meter considering just about everyone seems to lean that way once in a while. Gabriel seems pretty cool, though. At least he gets my Star Trek references.
