[ Sam has lost time. The last thing he remembers is entering the lab, getting a look around the place, some friendly sibling bickering in the kitchen. The next thing he knew he was in a bed, or more specifically the one he's claimed since they've arrived at the lab.
Not only that, but it seems like whatever Raphael did to help him before has worn off. As soon as consciousness hits him, the pain starts. There's an idle wonder if it's trying to make up for lost time, because it slams into his body with such a force that he ends up staying in that bed for three hours, unable to move or even call out to anyone.
Great. Because it's not like he has enough problems without being forced to deal with this.
After a bit of time, the pain subsides (or he gets used to it), and he's able to sit up. While he knows he should tell someone what's happening, especially his brother, there's some hesitance on Sam's part. It's not like he doesn't know what's going on with his body, this isn't some spontaneous illness - that pain carries a twinge of familiarity he isn't so happy to feel. And there isn't much anyone can do, especially Dean. However, there is one who helped him before....]
[ After learning that Charlie and Kevin are there (and after talking to both of them), Sam sends out a text to all. Normally he would just talk on video, but he doesn't want everyone to see the state he's in. Sam hasn't mastered the art of hiding it very well, especially so soon after this pain has returned. ]
Seems like we've got quite a few new folks around. You need anything, don't hesitate to ask. We're all in this together. I'm Sam Winchester.
I was also wondering about that machine we've got here in the building. Anyone got anything on it yet? I've been kind of indisposed for a while, so if anyone can catch me up that'd be great.
[ Private Text - Raphael ]
If you've got some time today, I'd like to meet up. I've been gone, not sure where but I've lost time. And...I can feel it again. The sickness I had when I arrived before.
Let me know.

Sam rolls his eyes a little, but his heart isn't into it. He'd rather be here and sick than wherever he had been and missing. ]
Thanks. [ He can always count on Dean to boost his spirits. ] Listen, has there been any trouble? Considering who we have around...
[ Sam's done a fantastic job of avoiding both Michael and Lucifer, but he knows he won't be able to keep that up forever. Maybe he lucked out and they disappeared while he was gone. ]

Um... Not the way you're thinking, probably. This place has been more of a powder keg than usual. Something's in the air, man. It's setting people off. Some more than others. No deaths I've heard of, and no showdowns in the town square.

It also makes him wary, because it can't simply just the be forced close proximity that's making tension go through the roof. Dean's mention of something in the air definitely rings true to him. ]
You think they're trying to rile us up, see what happens when things go full on postal?

[ God, Sam looks like a wreck. He's not sure what kind of mood Raphael is going to be in, but he knows Sam can't make it like that long on his own. ]

[ Joking, naturally, because safe doesn't usually get tacked on to 'adventures in kidnapping land'. ]
I'd really like to know why they left the lab in the first place. [ He's frowning a bit, remembering a few people from the town before... ] Is there anyone around that knew something from before? Like that guy, Stane, from the town. Said he knew he had his memories wiped.
[ He thinks. Sam rubs his forehead, squeezing his eyes shut as he quickly flips through his memory. It's a little fuzzy in some parts, which is worrisome, but he won't mention it out loud. Dean's got enough to worry about without his brother's brain malfunctioning. ]

[ But the reason why the scientists left is what has Dean worried, too. They had to have gone somewhere, and Dean's pretty suspicious that the venue switch means there was a change in the rules of the game that they know nothing about. ]
You oughta take it easy, though.

[ Said with a little bit of heat, but he's mostly irritated with himself and his body's refusal to actually heal. He inhales deeply, shelving the mystery for the moment so he can focus on himself and what he needs to do to get back in working order. ]
Look, I'm going to get in touch with one of the angels. Hopefully Raphael, but whoever I can convince to heal me a little will do. [ Except, you know, Michael and Lucifer but that goes without saying. ] I'll catch you when I'm up and about, then we'll brainstorm on this more.
[ Aka Sam is refusing to just lay back and let his body do its thing. He'll jump start the healing again, and maybe this time figure out how to get this junk out of his system. ]
