[Ellen doesn't have time to figure out the video function on this thing. Her voice is extremely short and angry, barely controlled emotion leaking through. The last thing she knew she was holding Jo and telling a hellhound to go to back to hell.]

Where is she? Where's my baby?

[She's earned that much. She promised Jo she wouldn't leave her alone and she's not going to break that promise now. If this is Heaven, it's one hell of a disappointment, but she'll settle if it means she can have her daughter with her.

Her voice breaks.]

[There's a story behind that and as much as she needs to know what it is, her mind is almost exclusively on Jo right now.]

Jo's on her way to me.

[As soon as she can see her with her own eyes, she's coming back to this though. It was the reason they'd put their lives on the line, after all.]

[ There are so many answers he could give Sam has no idea where to start. Simple is best, as always. ]

I'm alive. [ Not that it really makes that much of a difference in the long run - if he did die, he's half convinced someone would just yank him right back to life. ] I should go ahead and let you know that you've been here before. Recently.

[ It's entirely possible that someone's already filled her in, but he wants to make sure so there isn't any confusion. ]

[There's something in his voice that makes her feel like he's not telling her everything. She's been a mom for a long time.]

Not that it counts for much, these days. [Pause.] Yeah, I've been told. Doesn't make any sense to me. As far as I know this is the first time I've been here.

Huh. [ Sam has to wonder what makes that happen - when he vanished recently he still remembered his time here. Maybe she'd been sent back home but brought back?

It's enough to give him a headache, trying to figure this place out. ]

This place has a habit of making people vanish and reappear. Sometimes people still have their memories but others... [ He trails off, a little unsure before continuing. ] I'll be honest, I'm happy to have you back. It might not be a four star resort but it's okay half the time.
