[ video ] - Day 163
[ Guess who's back from the dead? That's right, everybody's favourite resident demon! Of course, she's lacking a little of her usual sass and sparkle - apparently being thrown to the wolves - quite literally (if by wolves we mean hellhounds) - has that effect on a person. ]
Hello Cape Kore. Did you miss me? [ There's a smirk, but it's strained. ]
Did you get the stray puppy population under control while I was on my unscheduled vacation or you all still waiting for the dog warden to show up?

I can't promise it'll be any good, but I've been able to find something intoxicating in the canteen reliably. Shall I click my heels together and see if I can get us some decent bourbon?
no subject
[ Only not. Because loving one angel is already more than enough. ]
no subject
Where are you? I'll come find you with a bottle.
no subject
And the banter is enjoyable.
But really, loving one angel already makes Meg want to stab herself in the face with a fork out of disgust at herself for feeling all squishy and gooey and sparkly rainbows. ]
Still in my room. [ Licking her wounds and sulking. ]

All right, I'll be there shortly. Try not to fall in love with anyone before I get there.
[With a smirk and a wink, he cuts the feed. About fifteen minutes later he lands outside her door with a rustle of wings. Assuming it's not locked, he'll push it ajar and peer in.] Mission accomplished. Do you do ice cream? I brought a carton of it, too.
no subject
[ She shoots him a smirk in return and sits up on her bed. ]
Luckily for you, there's only enough space for one angel shaped being in this tarnish, demonic heart of mine.
no subject
You've been through it more than once now, I notice. I'm hoping you'll pay me back with something alcoholic some day. [He hands over the bottle and a spoon, sits on the end of her bed like he was invited, and puts the ice cream between them.]
no subject
It would be a brilliant club.
Meg takes the bottle from him and takes a healthy swig. Ah, the good stuff! It burns in all the right ways. ]
I'll be sure to keep a bottle of the good stuff held back for you. It's only fair.
no subject
But they can pretend for now!]
Quid pro quo, then! Excellent. I knew I could count on you to be pragmatic. [One of the top two reasons he likes her, the other one being she's willing to do anything for Castiel, much like Balthazar himself.]
no subject
Do try not to wind up dying any time soon though, won't you? We keep making a habit of it and the good stuff might run out.
[ Anything for Cas? That sounds about right. Hey, she's practically died for the guy and that's kind of a big deal for a demon so keen on self preservation.
Maybe they should rename their club the 'people who have died for Cas' club instead. For Cas/By Cas' hand. Same thing, right? ]
no subject
I'll do my best, and with any luck I'll only go through it the once. Let me have a drink? [He holds his hand out for the bottle hopefully. Don't worry, Meg, he'll be a gentleman and restrict himself to a few sips.
The People who have Died for Cas club would not be quite as big as the People who have Died for the Winchesters club, but it might be a bit more amiable. Sounds like a plan.]
no subject
Apparently demons can have off days too. Who knew? ]
If you do wind up dying here, I do hope yours is a rather more pleasant experience than mine.
no subject
Oh. Never mind, I've just answered myself. I'll wait until I bite it back home before I try anything too risky here, though.
no subject
[ Or you know, anything else from the relatively short list of things that kill angels. Seriously, angels have it so good compared to demons. ]
no subject
[It's not really apropos of anything. Just wondering aloud, and a small part of him is still waiting for Apocalypse-level infighting to break out within his family there.]
no subject
[ Whether one of her allies put it on the bed or whether whatever brought her back did, she doesn't know. She's just glad it isn't lost or fallen into the wrong hands. ]
no subject
But it does seem this place has a few curve-balls to throw us. I'm just as glad you're armed.
no subject
You know me too well.
no subject
Coming from you, that actually sounds vaguely threatening. [He teases, handing her the liquor bottle.] 'You know me too well, and now I have to kill you.'
no subject
[ She takes the bottle and takes a large swig, welcoming the burn of the alcohol. ]
If I killed you then who'll bring me alcohol and who shall I turn to for mind-blowing anger sex?
no subject
Alcohol, though. I doubt there's anyone else here with quite my experience in drinking. [No one, at least, who could be trusted not to spike her with holy water.]
no subject
[ Ah, there's a smirk. Maybe she's slowly beginning to feel a little more like her old self. ]
no subject
[He's hit the point where he can tolerate Dean, but he's not certain he likes him much. It's hard for an angel so full of doubt to deal with a human who outwardly seems so damn sure of himself.]
no subject
[ Oh, that right there is the filthiest of smirks. Poor Dean, he's not even here to defend himself. Oh well, not her problem. ]
