[ For a man who’s just woken up in a strange place with a disembodied voice speaking out of a gizmo on his wrist, Tony sounds remarkably calm. Almost amused, as he addresses not the network at large, but what he intends to be the source of unfamiliar voice that has just been emanating from the communicator. ]

Excuse you, but I don't make a habit of talking to strange, disembodied voices. Makes JARVIS jealous.

[ Still speaking in a light, even tone, he sounds like he’s giving someone some friendly advice. But the longer he talks, the more obvious the subtle edge, sharp and dangerous, to his voice becomes. ]

You ought to know. The last time someone tried this with me? It didn’t work out like they’d hoped. So whatever this is, this little unplanned vacation? It better end soon.

[ This is definitely not the voice he just heard coming out of the communicator. A moment's silence, and when he speaks again, the edge to his own is muted. ]

Not what. Who. He's a friend of mine.

[ Still cautious, testing the waters, he isn't overly friendly, but he isn't hostile either. ]

[Bruce squints into the camera, and then puts on his reading glasses. There's a lot mixed up in the expression on his face -- he's a little bewildered, a little surprised, and a little... apologetic.]

... Tony?

Bruce?

[ There's a scrabbling sound, almost a fumble, and the video on his end turns on as well. He makes no attempt to keep the surprise off his face. ]

What's going on?

[She scoffs]

Oh, please. Do I sound like someone capable of plucking you from wherever the hell you came from and depositing you in a town full of other strangers from different times and possibly different universes? I'm smart, but not that smart.

You won't be able to talk to the people that brought us here.

Is that happened? I had no idea.

[ For the moment, he's just going to ignore the whole "different times, different universes" thing. ]

Why can't I speak to them? Did something happen to them?

[She sighs] The only contact they've made is dragging some guy off to do god knows what and then releasing him back here with us. All signs point to incredibly sick social experiment. Some of us have been here for more than two weeks. We can't get out and we don't know why.

Jus' think of it like a vacation to...a place that kinda looks like Maine. [ With no electronics...or any other source of entertainment except fighting off formerly extinct animals. That works well. ]

[ He's silent for a moment, then sighs quietly under his breath and turns the video on on his end. ]

The guy that disappeared. When he came back, how was he? Sick, injured, different in any way?

[ Okay, that's another familiar voice. Tony doesn't even wait to turn the video on this time. ]

Maine? That your professional opinion? We're in Maine?

[Woah. What even is that facial hair. Still kinda cute. She smiles.]

I'm going to go with crazier than Britney Spears shaving her head on that one. Unless he was crazy before and no one bothered to notice... [She shrugs]

You can ask him directly. His name is Sam Winchester and his brother is a complete and utter moron.

It's... Well, no, it isn't a long story because we don't know that much. We showed up here a couple weeks ago now, no explanation, no preamble, no sign of who brought us here or why.

Coast, forest, 'm basin' all of this on movies. Quite possibly what I mighta seen on the Blair Witch Project and Hocus Pocus. [ Don't judge him. ]

Other than that...all we got is theories and no evidence. If you're out on the street you can wave to our hosts watchin' via cameras fuckin' everywhere.

Cameras? [ His lips thin into a frown. ] No one took care of them yet?
