kore_npc[ Feed flickered on and Edgar, as it seems, has made himself incredibly busy creating makeshift traps for the creatures that still lingered on outside. He scrubbed his hand down his face as continues on sharpening what used to be the fence in front of the home he had procured for himself. Edgar glanced down at his communicator; once, twice, before he stopped what he was doing. The others could only see him cleaning off his hands before lifting his communicator up. ] I’m sure we’ve all been here long enough to know when things are not being handled in significant ways people who call themselves “professionals” are handling a thing like this. Now, it goes without saying that there is about as much sense of community here as one would expect from a group of strangers all gathered together by circumstances out of our control. We’re looking for a way home, we’re looking for stability, we’re looking for guidance; no one has a clue of what we’re doing. But I know everyone in this place is trying. And kudos to everyone. You’ve survived.
We are surviving. The wolves. The saber-cats. The box. [ He paused for a brief moment, taking in a deep breath. ] But I will reiterate; we’re not a community, we’re a group of strangers. People have been needlessly attacked by those animals. What happened with The Box was a gross negligence of people not working together to come up with a solution. Instead we had our brightest out there instead of some muscle; our doctors and a teenage girl. One of ours were injured for Christ’s sake.
From what I can see, we have a wide variety of people. But we are a people divided. What happened with whomever or whatever came out of the box could have been avoided. But it isn’t the only danger we’re in. We all know that. It’s getting to the point when we walk out of our houses and the hunt begins. None of us should be living in fear. None of us should feel less secure than others. The only way I see this working out for anyone is becoming a community. Let’s face the hard facts here people, we’re stuck. We should continue searching for a way out, but doing so individually won’t get anyone anywhere. We all need to be on the same page here.
Aside from that, I'm building traps for the animals. The kind that kill. If anyone wants me to set up some around their house, don't hesitate to ask.
Edgar Stane, out.
