01 [Audio]
[At first, there's just the sound of feet shuffling and rustling cloth, followed by a couple of exploratory taps on the communicator.
Finally, a confused voice can be heard.]
Hello? If there's anyone listening, I need to know where I am and how I can get back home.
[There's a pause that lasts a few seconds.]
If anyone knows how to get out of here at all, that would be great too. [There's more tapping noises, followed by the same voice speaking.] Thanks.

Mmm-hm, the Outsider. He's...interesting.

Well, I guess I'll take the room next to his, and we'll go from there.

I know this isn't the best situation...at all...but I'm really happy you're here.
if I'm having Blaine be too love-y, let me know and I'll tone it down.
I am too, Kurt. I never thought I'd wind up here, but somehow, having you around makes up for that.
nooo, we love the love!
I was just nervous I was weirding you out ^^;;
[It's a little unnerving how casually Kurt mentions that, like it's an every day occurrence.]
Even if it does attack us, there's no way I'll let it do anything to you.
[Never mind that he doesn't know the first thing about fighting off a kraken.]
never too much lovey blaine~
[D'aww, have a melty Kurt.] My hero.
I agree! :D
I know you'd do the same for me, Kurt. But all the same, I hope we never find out what it's like to be attacked by a kraken.

[He sighs a little, sitting down on the couch and making a face when that dislodges a puff of dust.] But realistically, we're going to have to learn how to defend ourselves somehow. Even if there aren't krakens, there are huge wolves and mountain lions and people disappearing, not to mention the camera's...
[He frowns, starting to gnaw at his index fingernail, anxiously.]

I could teach you what I know about boxing, but that's not much use against wolves and mountain lions.
[He laughs a little, trying to inject some humor into what is clearly not a good situation. But it doesn't long, and soon, Blaine's concerned expression is back as he mulls over everything he's learned.]
What's this about people disappearing?
no subject
Just that. Whoever brought us here sometimes...takes people.
no subject
And do they ever come back?

I really don't want to jinx us, Kurt, but I hope that if we ever leave, it's together and not separately.

But you know you'll always have me, right?
no subject
I'd almost resigned myself to not having you, actually.
no subject
I get that, Kurt, I really do. You had no idea if I was going to show up or not.
Aside from having your diner get flattened, what else have you been doing?

Well, you have nothing to worry about now, Kurt. I'm not going anywhere. [To the best of his abilities, of course, but it can be assumed that he'll do his best to never leave Kurt.]
no subject
Good. ...I was serious about you finding something to do here. Maybe you can..teach boxing.
no subject
[He frowns a bit at Kurt's suggestion.]
Would anyone want to learn boxing from me, though? It's different if I was just showing you things. [Besides, from what he's gathered, most of the people here seem older or (at first glance) not someone who would be interested in learning boxing, much less from a kid in high school.]
no subject
[He shrugs a shoulder.] You never know. Every little bit helps.
no subject
I guess I could ask around. Do you know anyone who might be interested?
no subject
Mmm, Lydia might. [Leans against Blaine's shoulder and gives a contented sigh.] I'll ask her later.
