Hey, guys, just a quick FYI... Yesterday, I smashed the camera in my room with a chair. Today? Totally fixed camera. Kinda creepy, because I'm a pretty light sleeper and I didn't hear anything last night. Maybe... Lydia! Hey, Lydia!

[He shrugs.]

I think she's sleeping.

Oh, and catching seafood with your bare hands? [The camera shakes around as he mimes with his hands.] Not as easy as the movies make it look. So if anyone knows how to like... fish or catch lobsters or whatever, you should give them to Kurt so that me and Kenzi can eat them. Also, I recommend being a good swimmer, which I am really not. Apparently.

It doesn't count if you have to pay them. But I'm sure you'll find someone desperate enough around here. Traumatic events tend to bring out the more animalistic side of people and the threat of death makes them more likely to sleep with people like you. Stay positive.

I would bet you, but then the people I sleep with might find out and be pissed and pissed off people don't come back for seconds. Well, sometimes they do and it's awesome, but if they don't, it's kind of disappointing.

Actually had a similar experience, 'cept I tried to take mine apart, y'know find out where the wires went and all that. Got electrocuted pretty bad, I guess. Woke up a few hours later a little toastier than before and the camera had been replaced.

[He pauses, realizing that, to Kobra, this probably doesn't mean much.]

Not a lot can knock me out, so... I dunno, strange shit is going on here. Very strange.

Yeah, my light sleeping is kind of what keeps me alive, so... not great.

[He pauses again and gets the same introspective look in his eyes.] And no scent afterwards...

I'm not sure our keepers are all that human.

That would be really cool, but why would they want us?

Maybe. [He makes a face and shrugs. Usually those leave some kind of scent too, but it was possible.]

I was thinking more along the lines of, I dunno, androids? Robots? Though they could be under the control of someone human. Could be anything really. [So many possibilities.]

I know a robot, but I don't think he did it. He seems pretty concerned with me and Lyd's well-being and is pretty cool and he doesn't know how he got here, either.

[Also he's Kobra's cool robot friend and Kobra will fight anyone who says otherwise.]

Yea, probably not your robot. I really got no idea. Guess all everyone has at this point is theories until things can get ruled out, but I'll let you know if I see an alien. You can be the first to go say 'howdy'.

That is indeed troubling... I myself draped a towel over the one in the bath, but when I next checked the towel had been replaced, and I'm unsure how it could have been done. I searched for secret entrances to the room, but found nothing.

Ah, regarding the fish... it might be easier to try and spear them, if someone can find a stick to sharpen, or to try and fashion some kind of net or trap...?

I think I'm going to let someone else handle that. A wise once lady warned me off of going into the ocean and I like my hand where it is. I'd be happy to help someone sharpen sticks, though.

Fishing is a great deal more difficult than most people suspect! Some of my uncles were keen on fishing, but I could never catch anything when I tried it. Then again, the Chicago River is not the best place to catch good fish.

I've been living in the desert for a while, so I can't remember the last time I swam in anything. The ocean was not a great first try after so long.
