[Hello, all. Please see Elle as she works the wristcomm as if she actually knows what she's doing. Please note how much better she looks now than she did last time. Brushed hair, some makeup. Yeah, that's right. Makeup. Clothes that aren't wrinkled. Freaking behind.]

[And sure, you might notice that her demeanor isn't nearly as confident as it was, but there are still shadows of it. Traces. She'll be fine.]

[She clears her throat.]

Hi. So I apparently went mental longer than the rest of you. [And if anyone notices how her eyes glance at something against the wall, they might think she's still seeing things.] Whatever. It's taken care of.

But I kind of burned a bunch of my clothes and there's no food whatsoever. [She can only suspect she thought it was going to poison her and thus ruined most of it.]

Which of you wants to help?

[He'll be over soon enough then, armed with a variety of clothes left in the closet in his room. It's not as if he wears them anyway. He's still reasonably sure she'll try to kill him, but hey, it's not as if she actually could.]

[ She opens the door wearing nothing but a sheet (guys like that, right?) and eyes the clothes in his arms. ]

I'm ready for my fitting?

[Okay, he wasn't actually expecting her to answer the door like that. He's a little taken aback, but he recovers admirably.]

If you don't wanna try on the clothes then I can't say how well this 'trying on clothes' thing's gonna go, but hey, what do I know.

[He steps inside, still holding the clothes (just in case).]

[Her eyes narrow at the feed.]

What [the hell] is venison jerky?

[He tilts his head to the side almost looking sorry for her.] Really?

It's deer meat. Deer meat is called venison.

Least ya learned something today.

[ She stares at him as if he's murdered her firstborn child. ]

Really?

[Unphased.] ...yup. That's what deer meat's called.

And people actually eat it.

I volunteer. I picked up some extra food from the food-splosion, and that Stane guy ought to give you some extra to compensate for being nuts, in my opinion.

[ She hangs her head and hesitates. ] I'm better. When I think- when I think he's here, I just get in bed and stay until he's gone.

[ She'd considered hiding under the bed, but it had been dirty under there. She lowers her voice to a murmur. ]

Never in my life have I sounded so much like a drug dealer. And you're welcome.

[ His warm smile fades to something smaller and gentler. ]

You're still seeing him, then?

Um. Yeah. But it's not bad!

[ She looks panicked for a moment, but she quickly takes a breath and closes her eyes. No. Nonono. Bruce wouldn't send her away. He won't lock her away someplace. If he were going to, he would have by now. After several moments, she opens her eyes again. ]

It's not bad. And hey, at least my drug dealer is cute, right?

[ Right, so it's still somewhat bad. He won't press her on the issue, but he doesn't think she should be staying alone anymore. It's clear she needs people around her; maybe that will help keep her present, and keep the ghosts at bay. ]

Well, I'm glad to hear it. Hey, I was thinking. You're on your own in that house of yours, right? The attic is free in the house I share with Tony. [ And a missing Steve... ]

[ She brightens considerably. ]

How small is it?

[ She doesn't mind if he says it's the size of a closet. Elle tends to feel safest in tight spaces. But an attic... That has to be pretty safe, right? ]

It's decently sized; there's a bed and some furniture, and I'll help you bring over whatever you need.

[ He's pretty grateful that Tony agreed to this. Bruce is really worried about Elle, and she gets so scared on her own. ]

[ Elle is already looking better, though, even if she's still hugging herself. ]

I don't have much. When can I move in?
