[And sure, you might notice that her demeanor isn't nearly as confident as it was, but there are still shadows of it. Traces. She'll be fine.]

[She clears her throat.]

Hi. So I apparently went mental longer than the rest of you. [And if anyone notices how her eyes glance at something against the wall, they might think she's still seeing things.] Whatever. It's taken care of.

But I kind of burned a bunch of my clothes and there's no food whatsoever. [She can only suspect she thought it was going to poison her and thus ruined most of it.]

Which of you wants to help?

I like it. Pretty close to beef jerky. Just... gamier.

I've never had beef jerky. I'm not that kind of person. I only went into a Wal-Mart once, and that was only because things were really, really bad.

[On the other hand, Elle is hungry. It takes energy to produce electrical discharge, and she's been expending more energy than she's been taking in.]

Well, I wouldn't wanna twist yer arm and force you to dine on somethin' that's beneath your station in life.

You can do whatever the hell you want to, darlin'. You wanted food, I've got some. I have raw venison too. Long as the refrigerators keep working. I s'pose if you asked real nice I could make an attempt at some burgers.

I haven't had a burger in years.

I'd say these were special circumstances... that is, if yer choice is based on moral grounds.

I think if I were really concerned with morality, I wouldn't have done some of the things I've done.

[Her doubtful look lifts as she shrugs.] Okay. I'll try it. But you might have to show me how. I don't want to look like a freaking idiot.
