[ She's distracted, sure, but Anna manages to pull together something resembling calm and composed for her addressing of the network. ]

In light of everything that has happened lately, I wonder if it would be a good idea to set up some sort of system to check in with one another. Two or three people you let know you're still- [ don't say alive, don't say alive, don't say alive ] in town and safe. Relatively speaking. It might help us recognise when people are going missing, figure out patterns. It's just an idea.

This 'Crowley'. Something tells me he's not as friendly as the other black eye we have here. [ Which, okay a little rude but look - Meg hasn't exactly given her much cause for anything nicer. ] Should we be worried?

[ He almost feels guilty for that, but Crowley's a demon. He couldn't just hand that power over to him. ]

Look at you, dealing on the side. [ If Anna's taken aback by that statement, to her credit she doesn't show it. Instead she just gives him a light smile and keeps her surprise to herself. ]

So what can we expect from this guy, then? Can we contain him? Are the people here safe?

He's not above torture, but he puts his own safety first. I think if he understands that a step out of line will get him killed, he'll behave.

[ He frowns. ]

And I was not "dealing on the side". We had an arrangement and I decided that I didn't want to help a demon amass more power.

So if we can convince him we'll 'rain down the power of Heaven', we might be alright here.

[ Honestly, that's...a lot more reasonable than she was initially expecting. ]

He'll save his own hide over anything and anyone else. I can almost guarantee that.

[ He doesn't even try to hide his disdain at that idea. He can't even begin to understand not caring about principals that much. ]

I don't... know why you're impressed, though.

With any luck he'll take a truce, I'll keep you out of it, and we might be able to keep this up without the town getting levelled.

[ She's not exactly optimistic about that prospect, but it's better than nothing. It can only last so long though, surely something's got to give soon.

That's a later problem though, she'll deal with that when she gets to that. ]

[ Despite the rather dire state of the town their in, all these supernatural beings crammed into one small space with nowhere to go, at least she still finds a little time to tease a younger brother, right? ]

[ Castiel bristles. He wants to feel insulted, but part of him is just happy that they can be a little more comfortable with each other. ]

I've changed. I would think you, of all people, would understand that.
