Oh, uh...
[Hello, Kore. Amidst the influx of new arrivals is Chuck. He's got short, curly brown hair and a beard. He also looks incredibly baffled as he squints down at the communicator on his wrist. He's outside, and his free hand is shielding his eyes from the sun. He doesn't appear to be someone who's used to being outside very often. Or like, at all.
He seems to be surprised that he's gotten the communicator working. He also seems confused as to who, exactly, he's talking to. But that doesn't stop him from stuttering on anyways.]
Sorry, I--I'm not exactly sure I know exactly were I am? Well, I mean... Cape Kore, obviously, but, uh... I mean, I was just in Ohio.
[He's smart enough that he knows that wherever Cape Kore is, it's certainly not in Ohio. He looks a little lost and confused for a second before a thought occurs to him.]
Was it---is this the angels? They did this, didn't they? They're the only ones who could do this, right? [And yet, even that didn't add up because,] I thought the Apocalypse was over!
[Chuck drags a hand down his face. He's not a Winchester. This isn't a life he's suited for. He's just a writer.]

[And while he might not have realized it was all true and real and happening for the majority of them, it didn't make everything they'd been through any less hard and real. Dean and Sam had changed a lot over the five years, and he couldn't be more proud of them.]
I mean. [He gives a little laugh.] It's more than I could do.

[ He knows that Chuck is somewhat anxious, maybe even neurotic, but it's clear to him that Chuck is a good person and he doesn't think that Chuck would choose inaction over doing the right thing. ]

But even Chuck himself has helped out in the few instances he's been able. Nothing particularly heroic or life saving or anything, but he certainly tries when he can.]
Oh, no, I, uh... I really don't think I'm capable of much. I mean, I can barely write.
[No matter what Castiel or anyone else says, Chuck still doesn't believe the whole Winchester gospel, Supernatural books are going to be as famous as the Bible, crap. Not until it happens, at least.]
[ Video - Private ]
[ Castiel can't help smiling a little. ]
But you know that's not what I mean. I think you would do the right thing, if given the choice. You've done nothing to imply that you wouldn't and He chose you for a reason.
[ Video - Private ]
Yeah, I guess. [That still doesn't mean he thinks he's Bible famous.]
Uh... thank you.
[That's a good bit of faith that Castiel is putting in Chuck the prophet. Chuck, who has never fought a monster to save his life, who sits in his house, gets drunk, and then does nothing but write. And it's... really kind of nice, actually.]
[ Video - Private ]
[ Castiel has seen how circumstances can change a man. Sam and Dean were pulled into things that were beyond their control and so was Chuck, even if he was less in the line of fire. ]
If you need help with anything, let me know.
[ Video - Private ]
If you say so.
[He nods.]
I will. Thank you, Castiel.
