o1 ✘ dean winchester ✘ video

[ If anyone is paying attention to the time the video begins it's roughly one in the morning. Dean's still up. He's also found the bar. Yay. Various alcoholic drinks later and a little bit of clanking around -- video shuts off.

It turns back on at 4 in the morning, Dean's laying on the counter of the bar now. Bored out of his fucking mind and muttering something under his breath as he fiddled around with his makeshift hatchet from Purgatoryland before bringing it up and slamming it into the counter beside him. Dean lifted his bracelet-ed hand, looking at the screen with bloodshot eyes before shutting it off purposely again.

And now it's nine o'clock for the masses that are actually awake and Dean's walking through town, carrying his weapon in one hand. He came up with a slight epiphany last night involving the forest and the...well, ocean it seemed like. And no he hasn't slept. Sleep is for the weak.
]

Aside from School House Rock deciding our best options is the library to find clues. Has anyone else thought of...a fucking boat? Unless you guys are getting too comfy in this place already. I can see the draw. Running water, food, nothing coming to kill you in your sleep. It's like a dream vacation.

[ Geeze Louise, does the guy ever sleep? Seriously, someone needs to smack him over the head and knock him out for a few hours! ]

Oh genius idea! A boat. Have you seen any boats about lately? Or, y'know, know how to build a flippin' boat? How about being sure there are no beasts in the water that want to eat us?

For your information, books are the greatest weapons in the universe. [ And woah, strange sense of déjà vu there, complete with temple searing pain. She ignores it, it'll go away, it always does. ]

So, what? You're going to chop down the forest and build a boat? See, if the folks that brought us here get pissy over people trying to break their cameras, I'm not too sure they'll like people destroying their landscaping.
noblexcompanion: ([ DONNA ] ♦ talk for hours)

[personal profile] noblexcompanion 2012-10-27 11:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but you can't throw the internet at someone's head! [ She smirks in reply. ]

I just don't think it's wise to piss off whoever brought us here, y'know? I mean, so far no one has been hurt - that I know of. If we start pissing them off who knows what the heck they're capable of?

[Have a delightfully amused British woman.]

I spoke to Agent Coulson about that idea actually, darling. I'm a fantastic sailor, you know. But we would need a ship, not a boat. And we don't seem to have a boat.

Have much experience with ship building, my dear?

[personal profile] hung_garian 2012-10-25 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Y'know, that little speech of yours would probably go down a lot better if you made it without... what even is that? A lawn strimmer?
hung_garian: (And I'm Marie-Joseph Lafayette)

You poor, deprived thing.

[identity profile] agentx13.livejournal.com 2012-10-25 12:51 pm (UTC)(link)
It's already been thought of. If you want to build one, be my guest. The ones that were here before are now at the bottom of the sea, but if you think you'll have better luck...

[It's also unlikely that a boat will work. If Logan couldn't get past metal bears in the woods, then chances were, they had something in the water, too, and that was without the Doctor's belief that the water was acidic and harmful over long period of time.]

The woods are out for now, too. It's a temporary setback.

[identity profile] agentx13.livejournal.com 2012-10-28 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Sharon smiles thinly.] I've seen things you haven't been able to imagine. When I say the setback is temporary, I mean it. If you'd like to talk about details, you can find me in the house across the street from the bar, last one on the left on the way to the dock.

How do you know for sure nothing's coming to kill you in your sleep? Maybe they're just biding their time.
onteamdyson: (i dunno!)

[personal profile] onteamdyson 2012-10-27 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
Well, first of all... you should probably sleep. Right now. That's dangerous. Trust me on that one. And secondly? You'd hear elves before you saw them. They whisper.... and love talking shit behind your back.

[Bitches.]

I'm pretty awesome at keeping watch if you're scared to pass out in case of boogeyman attack.
onteamdyson: (Pretty happy)

[personal profile] onteamdyson 2012-10-27 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Sleep is a gift from some uber-generous part of nature that makes everything wonderful and comfy and warm-- okay, I'm totes making myself tired despite the stabbity stabbing talk.

[She raises an eyebrow] Honey, I am dangerous, and it's not just the look. Don't stereotype me unless that stereotype is awesome. You should probably beware and all that jazz. If I ever get my sword back, I'll run this strange, camera-filled, drifter community with an iron fist and really cute boots!

[And there's a smile.] Hi. I'm Kenzi.
onteamdyson: (You Are A Dick)

[personal profile] onteamdyson 2012-10-27 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but he's Chuck Norris. You don't even look like Chuck Norris. Where's your cowboy hat?

[Oh REALLY? She grins and reaches across her bed, giving Dean a couple weird shots at weird angles, and finally holds up her crossbow. Not a sword, but still cool!]

What about this?! Kurt has my awesome knife, but I found a regular knife and a hammer and a sledgehammer. All my good stuff is back home.

For your information, simpleton, I did suggest a boat originally. The library was an option for those of us that don't want to meet certain death in uncharted waters.

But you go right ahead. Be my guest.
preytosociety: No. That's two years. Four years, tops. That is not eternal. (Show me your 'love is eternal' face)

[You son of a-- She smiles darkly] Not yet.

Just be sure to call me before your lungs start filling up with water so I can hear your last breath, okay? Such a dear.

Yes, and for the record? You getting drunk and hanging out at the bar is going to accomplish far less than researching in a library.

[ The reply comes in the middle of the night, actually, shortly after the second, 4:00am broadcast. Yet the voice coming from the communicator — feminine and a bit lyrical, with a very subtle hint of a Russian accent — doesn't sound the least bit tired. Even though it is getting a bit close to her definition of "bedtime." ]

You're going to hurt someone swinging that thing around like that. [ Her tone is matter-of-fact and faintly amused. ]
...Are you alright? A pity I didn't realize you were drinking alone sooner; I might have come and given you some company.

Mm, yes, I often associate the swinging about of hatchets and bloodshot eyes to be a sign of great mental and emotional health, personally. [ Her tone is still light, faintly amused. ] I don't know how I could possibly have concluded that you might not be taking our collective captivity very well.

Or perhaps you always drink at night. If that's the case, I'll be sure to join you next time.

What the hell sort of vacations to you take?

[identity profile] flatasgodmademe.livejournal.com 2012-10-28 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
To the special school? Or maybe the place where the other "special" people live?

[There are some air quotes for you, Dean. Enjoy.]

[identity profile] flatasgodmademe.livejournal.com 2012-11-05 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Bad acting, bad special effects, and a dickish guy who dies early on after pissing off everyone around him by being a dick?

You sure you wanna go with that one? Because so far, you've got two out of three. I'm sure you'll be three out of three once you show off your special effects skills.

Oh, same. Running water, beds, fucking pie. I'm in paradise. [He laughs] I get why some of the others want to go home, but I guess I'm not in as much of a rush. Why not enjoy a few days here?
