I have no idea. [ As per usual. Why couldn't he get something clear-cut, like a vampire? Or maybe something clear-cut that didn't also involve a thirst for blood. He just finds it a little funny that, now that he may finally be getting clues towards what he is, all this happens. ] Whatever it is, I seem to be, um...

[ Ned twists his wrist so that the communicator shows his bedroom. Or, at, least, the bits of his bedroom still visible. Much of the floor and furniture is beginning to be covered in growing things. There are ferns sprouting from the floor, vines laden with gem-bright fruits twisting their way up the bookcases. Lush flowers of every shape and size are sprouting from the bed, have made it almost unrecognizable. Ned holds the communicator close to a clear patch of wallpaper and then his hand comes into the frame. He runs his fingers along the wallpaper, and following in a path where he has touched, it grows soft and fuzzy with bright green lichen.]

So potentially dangerous only in that I may be setting someone's allergies off like crazy.

Or if you try to eat. Can you control what plants grow, or will any food you touch be turning into random... greenery?

[ He's right about the plants not being overtly dangerous, but they don't have to be overt, do they? And... was Ned this attractive before? Crap. Maybe she should switch to audio. ]

It's not a problem. I can eat the stuff that I've made, look. [ And in demonstration Ned plucks up one of the strawberries from his bookshelf and holds it in front of the video feed before popping it into his mouth contentedly. He's got a vested interest in making sure that Sharon doesn't think he's dangerous - he's still a little nervous about her, since their last communication ] So... so put me down in the definitely harmless category.

[ She can't decide if she'd rather laugh or screw him against a wall. He's cute, in a nerdy way. She manages a smile, though. That's something, right? ]
