You get used to the trying-not-to-die thing after a while. Or maybe not. We only live, what, around a hundred years if we're lucky? And you're... [ She shrugs. She supposes she ought to talk in past tense, but with that mention of sex, Sharon is... distracted. She barely manages to pull her attention back to the conversation. ]

It's the slightly more imminent threat that I'm more concerned about than anything.

[ And she's old, much older than a hundred years, but that doesn't mean she's any more eager to get eaten by her brother in her sleep. In fact, she's actively trying to avoid it. ]

I'm not sure if it would exist in your world, but Leviathans. They've gotten inside of him, and I doubt he'll be able to restrain himself forever. He's dangerous, more so than anyone else in town.
