[Elle appears on screen, and though she's in focus and still, the light behind her seems to be flickering, and there's a crackling sound in the background.]

Okay. So let's say, hypothetically, that I was looking at the camera and it sparked or something and I started- and then a fire magically appeared.

I mean, like, not a fire. But, you know. Um.

Anyway. Never mind.

Does anyone know how to use the fire extinguisher? Because I finally got clothes I like [and even though she knows this could potentially qualify as an emergency situation, she takes a second to drop her wrist to show a low-cut blouse] and don't want them to burn.

Not that they would. Just. You know. If there were a hypothetical fire...

They've replaced beds an' cameras... why not houses? Should be interesting.

[Elle smirks right back.] You should come over sometime and help me damage some property.

[He raises an eyebrow still smirking.] Might be fun. Paint the town red and see how much they replace. Might take you up on that offer.

[Elle smiles and considers him anew.]

What kind of damage can you wreak, anyway?

[After a bit of jostling, he turns the video to private.] Since you have your own little fire startin' powers, I guess I don' mind showin' you mine. [He smirks and what looks like three knives are now in front of his face. He moves his wrist, moving the camera so she can see where the knives are coming from.] They cut through everything. That and I don't really tire easy.

[He slips his claws away and straightens a bit.] K. I've showed you mine, now show me yours.

[She watches him curiously. That is... the weirdest superpower she's ever seen. It's a step away from useless, unless she's going to throw a party. Or, she supposes, unless she's trapped in some weird freaky place and looking to destroy things. She grins and holds up a ball of lightning.]

[His eyes reflect the blue electricity on the tiny screen.] Very nice.

... you know what building I really don't like? The town hall thing... the lighthouse is real close behind, too.
