Day 62; Video 002
[She's walking near the rotten piers, looking at her wrist. Her wings behind her are fluttering in the slight breeze.]
I was wondering if anyone had seen any barbecues around? It's cold, but I'm from Boston, so we're used to winter barbecuing.
I was going to -
[She trips and falls forward.]
Ow, what's -
[Her wrist twists as she scrambles away screaming in that high-pitched horror movie way. There's a brief flash of legs and then a flare of fire as the wooden piers catch behind her.
She's framed in flame, staring at the half a body.]
HUNTERS!

[She wants the pack now.]
Hunters. They hunted my family and I back home and left bodies like this sometimes, if they caught anyone.

[But if Charlie has a weakness, it's a damsel in distress. He's getting his coat and gun as he speaks.]

[She's confused.]

[And yes that is the sound of the door slamming as he starts heading her way. It's not like anything's more than five minutes apart in this place.]
no subject
[She's not alone now. someone else appeared to handle the damsel in distress.]

[He stops himself just in time.]
I ain't swearing at you, sweetheart. But don't tell me you ain't just seen half a human body and you don't feel like dropping a swear or two.
no subject
[It's soft, and almost embarrassed, but she doesn't swear. At all.]

You're serious about that? They ain't even got mass in this place, toots, you're off the hook.
no subject
[She sighs.]
And don't call me toots.

I ain't never met a real Catholic who weren't a kid or my parents since I moved state side. Thought they was some kinda unicorn or something.
no subject
[She huffs.]
No, just from Boston.

[Curious, more than anything.]
no subject
[Cuts himself off again. Dammit, this is hard.]
Kinda hypocritical if I did. I just don't know many who bother with it these days, is all. I ain't gone to mass since I were big enough my mom couldn't drag me there.
no subject
You sound like my uncle. Father Frankie about fell over when he started coming to Mass again.
