[She's walking near the rotten piers, looking at her wrist. Her wings behind her are fluttering in the slight breeze.]

I was wondering if anyone had seen any barbecues around? It's cold, but I'm from Boston, so we're used to winter barbecuing.

[She trips and falls forward.]

[Her wrist twists as she scrambles away screaming in that high-pitched horror movie way. There's a brief flash of legs and then a flare of fire as the wooden piers catch behind her.

She's framed in flame, staring at the half a body.]

[She's not sure how to put it. Then, she remembers something.]

[ It's a small peninsula. He's pretty sure she would know if they were or not. If they were, the maybe that was why this happened. If not... then it was very likely that it was something else entirely. ]

St. Raphael said there was one here. I've met him; Dean. I just... will avoid him as best I can.

Oh. No, I don't think... Dean wouldn't do this.

[ He knows Dean. And he can't think of any reason Dean Winchester would have for doing this to anyone. ]

This is what hunters do. They track down the "monsters" and leave them for others to find.

[She's absolutely positive about that. The smoke wings flare for a moment.]

They kill, even if they have no reason to.

[ Okay. Chuck's not going to deny that hunters track down "monsters" and kill them. That's kind of, you know. Their job. However, ]

And I don't... I don't think Dean did this.

[ Cutting people in half and leaving them in the open isn't exactly Dean's MO. ]

Reason? What reason? Because the monsters wished to live their lives, without bothering humans? Because they walked down the street?

No! No, I meant like, killing people. And stuff.

I mean, Dean, he's kept alive vampires that, you know, weren't drinking human blood. He wouldn't just... kill for no reason.

How magnanimous of him. [Despite the gentle tone, it's obvious that there's a bitter underlining there.]

You still haven't offered proof as to him, or others like him, not being the culprits.

Yeah, but... I mean, you don't have proof that he did do this.

[True and she dislikes that fact. It's easiest to blame hunters, because who else would do such a thing?]

Not yet. But why would even those holding us do something like this?

I don't know. But I mean... they brought us here. And they've done this whole... power swap thing. Why not kill someone too?

Prove to me the hunter isn't a threat, and maybe I'll believe you. Until then, my faith is in the Archangels.

[ Guilty until proven innocent? Not that Chuck would put a lot of faith in Lucifer, but... ]
