Hello there, young padawans. [Her voice is flat, almost to the point of disinterest.] I've been skulking about for a few days and I'll cut straight to the point: I'm pretty sure that I'm ready to leave now. [More emotion starts to present itself; frustration with the slightest trace of anger.] I get the whole "stuck" thing, but that's always such crap. Someone's usually behind that and they'll usually fold if approached the right way -- which in my case may very well be with a fist.

[She lets a little huff of air out, almost a laugh.] But I'm getting ahead of myself. So, how about this! I'll even be a good sport about it (if you could see me, I am smiling and not going to press any sort of interdimensional charges on you, I promise). I'm a busy woman with a cat to feed and a teenage cousin to roll my eyes at back home. Send me to my San Francisco and I'll forget this ever happened.

Atlantis still does, however. It fell ages ago and now resides under water.

See, the Atlanteans were far more evolved than humans and lived just fine underwater where I'm from. [In fact, she's part of the off-shoot of their evolution!]

I'm afraid "Mystic Moon" isn't a place that exists where I'm from, either. Sounds like a crappy bar. [And though she shouldn't...] And there isn't necessarily anything wrong with a demon, by the way. Don't be prejudice.

I worked with a man whose mother was one of those descendants and he turned out to be a stinking traitor. His brother killed my men when the woman he brought back from the Moon taught him how.

I'm afraid that in my world, no one's evolved to have either of those. [She thinks Aquaman might have gils somewhere, but she's never really paid attention to that. Also, she might just be thinking of Waterworld. Same thing, really.]

That may be the case, but you're still making sweeping generalizations. Especially if you add the multiverse into the mix.

The multiverse is short for multiple universes, alternate realities.

Some do, yes. In comparison to the general population, though, it's less than one in a million.
