Hello there, young padawans. [Her voice is flat, almost to the point of disinterest.] I've been skulking about for a few days and I'll cut straight to the point: I'm pretty sure that I'm ready to leave now. [More emotion starts to present itself; frustration with the slightest trace of anger.] I get the whole "stuck" thing, but that's always such crap. Someone's usually behind that and they'll usually fold if approached the right way -- which in my case may very well be with a fist.
[She lets a little huff of air out, almost a laugh.] But I'm getting ahead of myself. So, how about this! I'll even be a good sport about it (if you could see me, I am smiling and not going to press any sort of interdimensional charges on you, I promise). I'm a busy woman with a cat to feed and a teenage cousin to roll my eyes at back home. Send me to my San Francisco and I'll forget this ever happened.

Ah, but how do we know you are telling the truth? We do not have the time for an interdimensional legal battle, as you say. Besides, you aren't dressed for the trip - if you're going to San Francisco, you have to wear some flowers in your hair.
audio
I live in SF. I keep the flowers in pots or in my garden.
[She hopes he looks like Rich Uncle Pennybags, with a mustache as bushy as his accent is fake...]
audio
[He considers that for a moment, and grimaces - not that she can see it. The 'ja' was probably a little too far. He drops the accent, to the relief of anyone who knows what an Austrian accent's supposed to sound like.]
Or maybe not. Either way, you'd have to take it up with someone else, I'm not in charge here. Not even remotely.
audio
[It's quite a relief that the grating sounds cease.]
I am completely shocked at this revelation, Not-Particularly-Helpful Lad.
Re: audio
[Even if she is a troll or an ogre. He's not fussy, and he's had worse.]
You can call me Loki, B-T-dubs. And, uh, good luck with the getting out, but judging by us folks who've been stuck here nigh on two months now, you might not wanna hold your breath.

They have't responded to me yet, but if they prefer a woman's appeal don't keep it to yourself.

Are you in a habit of pressing inter-dimensional charges? Are there legal degrees for that where you come from?
no subject
You know, I'm pretty sure there are a few, but I tend to skirt the law where and when possible. Magic has its own laws and I happen to be one of the ones that help enforce it.
But I might press those charges, assuming I could come and go at my leisure. [A thoughtful pause. You can practically hear her brows furrowing.] It's... not often that I'm blocked like this. So I'm curious as to the reasoning behind it and what kind of being is able to.
no subject
Ah, well, as a disclaimer, I had nothing to do with it. And the second you find out who did it, I'll assist you in... enforcing. At present, I'm hoping that it's for something more than just for experimentation, but with the residents in the state they are...

[This is the most she's heard about the native people from this place so far, this tiny little drop of info.] Is there anything else you can tell me about the people from this place? Or maybe about these cameras I've been noticing about?
no subject
But, for what it's worth, everything looks sort of... lived-in, here. I can't imagine that the natives have been gone for very long.

[ Castiel understands why people want to leave, even if he is less than eager to return to where he came from, but he's moderately sure that he's in the minority. ]
Have you been afflicted by the change they've forced on many of us?
permathat
[She's not in much of a hurry, to be completely honest. All that's waiting for her back home is that cat, that teenage cousin, and maybe a show or twenty. She'll take exploration over that.]
You'll have to be more specific. Is that it? A lack of specificity affliction?
no subject
[ There's an awkward pause. ]
Unless you were already a cat-person. I don't want to make any unfair assumptions about your natural state of being.
no subject
I'm a cat-person... er. As in, a person that likes cat. But not a person with the features of a cat? And there's nothing wrong with being a vampire, either. Although I'm not.
no subject
[ Not well is an understatement. He's a weakened and generally upset mess. ]
I think I'm a cat person, too. I have a cat here, actually.
