[Dilandau's out in the grassy land near the beach, sweating from a recent bout of intensive exercise]

Have you finally stopped apologising now? [He doesn't hide the curl of his lip that shows how little he thinks of such gestures] I need a sparring partner, so if any of you demons have a sword and know how to use it, tell me. I start working at dawn.

[He pauses, narrowing his eyes]

And I don't want any of you to start telling me swords don't exist in your worlds too. I'm sick of hearing about how alien you all are.

[Remember the redhead? Yep. Here she is. Except, she's not on fire any more, and it's just regular old red hair framing her face. She's on her bed in her home. Her hair is wet, if very curly.]

I didn't know you were a swordsman, Mr. Dilandau. I wish I could help, but I'm not familiar with swords.

[He recognises her voice before her face; the only feature he'd been focussing on was her beautiful, fiery hair. He snaps a question at her, obviously shocked]

What happened to you? Why did you put out your hair?

[Her hand immediately goes to her hair, wondering what he's talking about. It takes her a second.]

Oh. Everyone was changed into something other than they usually are. This is how I am normally. Just a human.

[Yep. Just a human.]

[He doesn't even try to hide the way his face drops at the news.]

You kept it quiet enough while I was there to help you.

[The severe disappointment is quickly turning into anger as he realises how thoroughly he was tricked. This woman dared play with his interest in order to get his aid? He grit his teeth and glares furiously.]

[She's confused and rolls to sit up so that she can think about this.]

You... didn't know? Everyone's been talking about nothing but for the last week or so. I just assumed you knew.

[She's sorry! She wasn't trying to be a tease. D:]

I didn't think it was anything worth talking about until I learnt most of you people don't have anyone other than humans running around your worlds.

[He makes his decision about whether to risk this, though it's reluctant.]

Great. It's been ages since I had anyone to spar against. Where can I find you?

[He taps his lips with a finger. It's not exactly what he's after, but it could do]

[Dilandau stomps into the church, pausing only briefly to look at the strange decorations. He's too annoyed to spend long looking round, so rather than search the building for the person he's looking for he stops in the middle of the aisle and barks out his target's name]

St. Raphael!

[ There's a moment of silence and then Raphael is appearing, the sound of beating wings and the crack of thunder filling the small church. There's a flash of wing, outlined like lightning from his back. When he speaks, his voice is deep, rich, and calm. ]

Typically those summoning me do so with more respect.

[ There is only one being in all of Creation who is permitted to bark orders at Raphael - and he's not here. ]

[He stumbles back in shock, his anger vanishing as he realises how out of depth he is. He was expecting a priest, not some sort of magical being]

The woman who sent me didn't tell me you were a creature who needed to be summoned.

[A bit of his anger comes back at the thought. He's been made a fool of again by Brigid. Still, this creature is obviously powerful, so he keeps it in and gives a short bow]

I'm Dilandau Albatou, a recent arrival here. I've been told you can answer my questions.

[ Raphael stays where he eyes on Dilandau. He doesn't blink, doesn't even move overly much. ]

You walked into a situation blind and angry. That is poor recon.

[ The Healer was just as much a warrior as his elder brother. ]
