[When it comes back on and stays on, it's obvious by the scratches in the paint that it was being banged against a wall. Kenzi turns the device on her wrist to peer at it, into it, and she stares... until realization hits her.]

[ Ned is thrilled to see that spark of happiness come over her, and distressed when it fades as quickly as it was kindled.]

Why are you sorry? Wasn't your fault. [ He is particularly firm, when he says that. It's the scientists who are to blame, not Kenzi - not one bit. Then Ned smiles, keeps his voice cheerful as he rambles on at a rapid rate, hoping maybe some of it will cheer up Kenzi by osmosis. ] We can just have the party tomorrow. Or today. Or tomorrow and today. A welcome back Jesse-and-also-Kenzi party, with pie and...other party stuff. Like, uh- [ Shit, what did people do at parties. Ned isn't used to this whole having friends and interacting with people thing. ] -poker, and... charades?

[She still feels responsible somehow. Messing up their happiness by disappearing. Would they have been all fucked up if she never came back?

Kenzi's about to protest the idea of a party until she gets totally side tracked by Ned's party suggestions! Poker and charades? THIS AIN'T A PARTY, NED. But it gets a little laugh out of her.]

You know... I would actually be totally down for some poker and charades right about now. Sounds like a pretty sweet gig. We should do it up.

[ Oh look, a concrete thing that Kenzi says will make her feel better. Let Ned jump on that instantly. ] We have cards at the house? I can see if I can get me hands on some on my way home if we don't. [ As in they are gonna do this RIGHT NOW if that's what Kenzi wants. It's not like they're got much stopping them: they're all pretty much made of time in this place ]

But if you're totes serious about throwing a shindig, you think we could do it tomorrow? I promise not to go anywhere and I won't let Jesse out of my sight. Just... kind of need some time to re-adjust, you know?

Of course. [ He should have thought of that, himself. ] Tomorrow it is, then. [ That gives him all the more time to plan, which is good. Ned likes planning. Planning is something he's good at. ]
