The Hulk | 001 | Video | Day 70

[ The Hulk woke up outside his and Banner's place with this black thing strapped to his wrist, and he's pretty pissed. Not pissed enough that he's going to tear shit up, he's just angry because he doesn't remember getting here. He doesn't remember forcing his way out of Banner, and he can remember each and every time that happened -- until now. Except for this one.

When the feed switches on, it's because the Hulk's fingers are pulling at the thing, trying to yank it off; that's when he notices the screen doing something -- filming -- and so now the feed fills up with one enormous green eye. He pulls his wrist back and tilts his head. He knows what this thing is now. ]

What happened to Banner? Where's Tony?

[ He glances around him, and then narrows his eyes at the camera. ] This place is stupid.

[ You've just been served. ]

Three, four days, I think. You and Tony.

[Or 'You, Bruce, and Tony.' Whichever.]

[ The crap? He makes a face and tries to puzzle that one out. They took Banner and that makes sense because he's weak and annoying, but when did he get here? Why doesn't he remember fighting his way out? ]

Doesn't make sense. [ Unless... He looks almost hopeful. ] Was there a fight? Like the first time?

[reluctantsword]

[He's a lot more... rational, compared to the last time Wallie talked to him. That's fine by him, but it's curious. This is the most coherent conversation he's ever had with the Hulk, by far.]

Not that I ever heard of. You guys were just gone, along with a few other folks. If something happened, it's not common knowledge.

[ How rational the Hulk is depends a lot on how and why he gets out of his cage, and he doesn't know either of those things, but he at least doesn't feel threatened by the people he's spoken to so far and no one's coming after him. Puts him in a good mood. He growls, confused, and maybe almost pouts. ]

They brought Hulk back like this. If there's no fight... [ They had him captured.

They.

Had.

Him.

Captured. ]

[Watching the Hulk work things out is interesting, but not exactly enlightening.]

What is it?

[ He sighs. Keep up, Tattoo Face! ] If the Hulk didn't fight his way out, Hulk... didn't fight. [ They had him passive, or unconscious, or -- or something. ]

Don't remember turning into Hulk. Don't remember anything.

[reluctantsword]

Okay.

[He's thinking. Admittedly, there's a lot he doesn't know about the divide between Bruce and the Hulk, and the parallels between him and Shonsu are certainly worlds different, but he can make conclusions with his limited data.]

Is it possible for someone to turn Bruce into you against your will -- either of your wills? Especially if you're unconscious somehow? The other possibility is they've done something with your memory, which... well, I can't rule it out.

[ The sad thing is, there's so much that he doesn't know either. ]

Depends on Banner. If they poke him hard enough, maybe. [ He's weak, after all. ]

Right.

[Maybe there's a bit of a smirk there. He'd never tell Bruce he smirked, though.]

Let's hope they haven't hurt him permanently, if that's what they did. That probably won't be good for anyone.

[ He shakes his head again and doesn't even try not to look as disgusted as he is. ]

He's never hurt for long. Hulk fixes him. [ Such a stupid thing. He shouldn't get any perks. ]

Well, glad to hear it.

[He wants, really, to interrogate Bruce some time about the Hulk, but there never seems to be a good time for it.]

What about you? Anything I can get you?

[ Tony. Answers. Freedom from Banner. ]

I wish I could.

[Honestly, he'd prefer to ask a few questions rather than anything so violent, but the desire is certainly nothing hard to wrap his head around.]
