Anna's missing, and I've tried to send her messages with no success. I'd make a joke about milk cartons, but I'm genuinely worried here, so any information is appreciated.

Yes. She's never not responded to my messages before. If she's here, something's terribly wrong. Otherwise...

Well, that would probably be classified as terribly wrong, too.

[ He sighs heavily. ] Yeah - she usually responds when I call for her, so - I dunno, lotsa people been vanishing and coming back. Maybe we'll get lucky.

You doing good, man? Think last time I talked t'you you had a craving for humans.

The munchies are long gone, yes. Thank you for asking. [It comes out a bit more clipped than he means for it to. If he were less worried he'd be grateful to be remembered.]

I don't know what else to do. I suppose I'll just comb the area. [Which will likely be futile, but at least he'll be doing something.]

[ He thinks he gets it, though. People missing sucks, to put it lightly, and Jesse is quiet for a second before replying: ] Yeah, there ain't much we can do. But m'gonna help best I can, yeah?

[Oh. Well. It's a bit reassuring, at least, that people are interested in helping, whether it's for Anna's sake, or Balthazar's, or just because. He takes a deep breath.]
