I'm back, just in case anyone was wondering; it's possible you weren't, of course, since I have no idea how long I was gone.

But someone has clearly been watering my garden, so thank you for that! And the radishes are ready.

A bath otter? The fur might clog the drain, but it would be a good excuse to visit people bathing, I suppose.

Oh I see, even as a sea otter your head would be in the flippin' gutter. All the pretty girls would be petting you because you'd be adorable and all the time you'd be planning on creeping on their bath time!

Would it make you feel better if I restricted my creeping to a few special cases?

[ Her fingers find his hair, threading through it softly. He'd probably have to do something pretty extreme to disappoint her like kill everyone in the Cape or something...

Of course, she's not blind enough to think it couldn't happen one day. ]

Well I hope I never disappoint you either. Where would I get my cuddles from then?

[Could happen, but probably only with the machinations of their captors. Or the other angels. In the meantime, he's happy to provide her all the cuddles she wants. Eyes closing, he smiles faintly.]

I'm sure there are others about who'd cuddle you, but I'll try to keep my place as first in line.

[This time he just smiles at the affection, out of protests and warnings and too content basking in her approval. Maybe that's dangerous, or maybe it's just what he needs.]
