[ The face of one redhead that you might have seen before (but not for a few days). One that looks just a little freaked out (though is that any different to her regular face here?) ]

I don't know what's worse. Coming back here or what I came from.

[ It's not really the kind of thought you want to hear, or echo, but it's what she's wondering. It's what's on her mind, anyway.

It's late. She's been back for a few hours, and after getting back to her house and room she's tried to see (at least externally) what's changed. It doesn't look like a lot but: ]

I don't suppose that anything's changed around here? A mall opening, or a permanent door out? Or even less monsters.

[ Because please, there's enough back home without everything in the woods ]

[ charlie listens, frowning a little. ]

What do you mean found a dead body? Like, stumbled across a corpse in the woods?

[intelligently]

More like somehow driving to the pool, without actually driving to the pool, and finding them there.

[ For clarification, she did actually drive to the pool but she was 'out of it'. Go fugue states ]

[intraining]

That...is all kinds of confusing. And you found more than one body like that?

[intelligently]

Just the one. [ She definitely hopes that it stays that way too ] But it's not the first time I've gone somewhere without knowing how I've gotten there.

[intraining]

[ well that's a reassuring thought ]

How many times has that happened? Do you know why?

[intelligently]

No. [ She wishes she did. It had been the same thing that she'd mentioned to Stiles just before coming back ]

I wish I did. It's not the first time that I've gone somewhere and not remembered it. [ There's also been that time where she dragged off Derek Hale and used him to revive Peter. That was fun ]

[intraining]

[ charlie's just going to be quiet for a moment. ]

That's kind of really terrifying. [ wow that was so helpful charlie thanks for your input. ] At least you're not the one killing them...right?

[intelligently]

As far as I know.

[ She sounds a little more confident on that than she feels. She doesn't know what's going on, or what she's doing. She's resurrected someone before, could she kill and not remember it? Maybe. Could she be controlled again? Probably ]

Hopefully it can't happen here. Or ever again.

[intraining]

Yeah, def terrifying.

[ but then charlie will give lydia something of a reassuring smile. something, because there's really no telling if it actually works. ]

I could help watch your back, if you want. Be the Spock to your Captain Kirk and keep you in line with the whole saving planets and not killing people bit.

[ The Star Trek reference definitely goes over Lydia's head, but she manages to figure out the meaning. Or so she hopes ]

You mean check up on me and make sure I'm not walking about anywhere? [ And killing, obviously ]

[intraining]

You say checking up like I'm some kind of creepy doctor.

[ really lydia, come on now. ]

I meant more like- keep an eye out? If I notice you zombie-ing around I'll do...something. Mostly make sure you don't end up in the forest or out in the ocean, but yeah.

[intelligently]

I think that could work. [ It sounds good as an idea, definitely. If Charlie's there when she 'zombies', definitely ]

[intraining]

Don't sound so sure of yourself.

[ charlie's smiling a little, though, which means she obviously understands how lydia might be feeling and is trying to make light of the situation because of it. ]

But hey- I don't plan on heading anywhere anytime soon, so I'll be around to watch out for your temporary undead situation. It'll work out.
