[ The face of one redhead that you might have seen before (but not for a few days). One that looks just a little freaked out (though is that any different to her regular face here?) ]
I don't know what's worse. Coming back here or what I came from.
[ It's not really the kind of thought you want to hear, or echo, but it's what she's wondering. It's what's on her mind, anyway.
It's late. She's been back for a few hours, and after getting back to her house and room she's tried to see (at least externally) what's changed. It doesn't look like a lot but: ]
I don't suppose that anything's changed around here? A mall opening, or a permanent door out? Or even less monsters.

[ Lydia gives it a moment for Charlie to say something else before clicking it off, getting herself together and anything she needs (she doesn't really need anything) before making her way to the beach ]

[ and lydia just gets a salute, before charlie's killing the feed and making her way across the town to the beach. it shouldn't take her long to get there at all, but when she does she's already looking around for the other head of red. ]

There was thankfully a bench, and a mostly intact on at that, at the beach, where Lydia ended up sitting as she waited for Charlie. In fact, Lydia had barely sat down before she saw the others red hair, and gave a little call to her ]

[ Lydia gives her smile, trying to relax a little now that she was here. It wasn't easy, in between what she'd come from and being here, but she didn't like the feeling of being on edge ]
It gave me a chance to remember being here.

[ but charlie tries to smile for lydia anyway. even if the smile doesn't last very long. seeing her in person versus the screen made it pretty obvious what she saw back home wasn't pretty. ]

I don't know. I found a dead body. I've not found a dead body before, or ever expected to.
[ It was one thing people dying. It was one thing learning about werewolves and kanimas. But finding a dead body? That was something else ]

I wish I did. It's not the first time that I've gone somewhere and not remembered it. [ There's also been that time where she dragged off Derek Hale and used him to revive Peter. That was fun ]

[ She sounds a little more confident on that than she feels. She doesn't know what's going on, or what she's doing. She's resurrected someone before, could she kill and not remember it? Maybe. Could she be controlled again? Probably ]
Hopefully it can't happen here. Or ever again.
