Martha's 3rd - Video/Action - Day 98

[To anyone who has been to the clinic when it was still there, that's where you'll see Martha when the video opens up.]

In an attempt to be of some use around here, I'm opening up the clinic again. I have my credentials from Royal Hope Hospital in London circa 2008. I also have experience treating non-humans thanks to some travel in both time and space. Most recently, I have gained experience as a field medic.

For anyone who has been seeing Dr. Barrett as your physician while here on this island, you may keep seeing her. But more doctors are always helpful.

If you have any questions or would like to sit for a physical, you may talk to me here or come visit the clinic. If not, that's perfectly fine too.

[Of course, baseline physicals would be much better, but she's not going to push anyone. Martha wants to be trusted above anything else.]

Naaahhhh! I think she'd benefit from the collaboration, and would enjoy someone to bounce ideas off of in the medical world.

She was very nice when I met her. Says she met me before. Have you been talking about me to her?

Mmmm, probably, yes. I know her well, actually. She's helped me loads of times.

[Actually, he probably would never be able to properly pay her back for all that she had done. If Martha had thought she'd seen the Doctor at his worst, Mina definitely had.]

Has she? Good. I'm glad someone was looking out for you.

Looking out for me...? Ehhhh, that's subjective, I suppose. [Although she couldn't see him, he rubs at his eyelid.]

I came to her the first time, and erm... I've been behaving lately, I promise you that.

I'm glad you had a friend here at least.

I know what you meant, Martha, and your concern is appreciated! She's a very good friend, indeed.

[And perhaps more than? But that conversation was never discussed, and he'd rather avoid it anyway.]

Well I'm glad. I suppose you have my permission to keep seeing her as your primary doctor. [Though it kills her to say it.]

Marthaaaa, [He catches that tone of voice.] I'll see both of you! It's not like I'm often sick.

[Though he still had the lingering headaches, but he hadn't mentioned that to anyone.]

I know. But for the sake of keeping you alive, it's probably best you do see her. She knows your past here better than I do.

[She keeps her tone light.]

Actually I'll need to call her again about the supplies she has in her kitchen. Guess I should wait a bit though.

My past here, yes, as far as me personally... Well... Perhaps you know better on that part. We traveled longer together, though I've been in a couple sticky situations here. Not literally, mind you.

[Martha doesn't mention the fact that she knows he's not telling her everything. She promised herself she wouldn't push. Wouldn't hurt him again. And though she doesn't know that he's told Mina anything, she suspects he's told the other doctor something. And if Mina has more information, then Mina should be the one treating him.]

You've been in more than one? But there's... nevermind. I don't know why I'm even surprised by that.

I'm glad you're still here and in one piece. Don't know what I'd do without my Doctor.

Aw, I think you made me blush.

[There's at least a cheeky grin.]

Martha, if you ever need anything, you know where to find me.

Of course Doctor. Might want a rundown of people here after today. There's quite a few interesting characters.
