I know that this sounds odd. [ And isn't really a question that people generally ask. Also what isn't odd, around here? It's her justification ] But with what's been happening I'd like to know.

[ There's a pause. It's a touchy subject, obviously, and she's not even sure where the conversations might go ]

I want to know about your experience with death. [ She's going to try and go slow on this. As slow as Lydia Martin wanting to know something can. But things are pretty messed up. She feels pretty messed up. And she'll even tell her reasons for asking if she's asked ]

Not just if you know someone has died but... if you've seen it. [ A two second pause ] Or nearly died.

It's happened here, and could have happened a lot more. [ If Dirk hadn't put out that useful message. People were still taken but at least they were warned ]

But- Can people come back? [ It might sound crazy, but it's happened before. It happened to Jackson - twice, although that was a supernatural thing. But it leaves the possibility, right? ]

What do you mean medically speaking? [ She'll get to his question ]

Where I'm from--it's not hard to save someone from that. My friend has got this--we'll just say brother. Big bro blew a hole in his head, but they were able to save him despite the fact that I'm pretty sure the dude was like dead. Anyways medical advancement has come a long way in my world. [ He's a hundred percent sure that she is talking about another way. His world isn't well known. He's lucky too that the network didn't give him too much trouble with that message. He's almost certain that it'll start acting up very soon. ]

[ Just one second that's... odd ] How can you save someone from that?

[monticora]

I don't know all the details. I know what she told me. It's not hard to salvage people where I'm from. [ Plus Transgenic's are built to withstand a lot of damage. He was technically dead, but with enough spare parts laying around at Manticore--it wasn't hard to bring him back. ] Why're you so interested in death?

[intelligently]

Salvage? [ It almost just slips out, and then she answers his question ] Something happened. I wanted to know what other people knew.
