Kevin Tran | 001 | Accidental video
[ Kevin's been working for a few days without sleep on the tablet, so when he wakes up, he figures he must've just passed out from exhaustion. He gets all the way to sitting up before he realizes that he isn't in the bunker.
When the feed switches on, it starts first staring up at the ceiling, while in the background, someone is very clearly laying waste to the bookshelf in their room. Kevin steps into the frame as he swings the shelf he'd ripped out to use as a weapon, and he decides it's acceptable before he sets it down. He has a bunch of papers, and as he puts them into an empty pillowcase, the cuneiform symbols can just be seen for what they are -- that is, ancient and unreadable.
He reaches for his shelf again, and now his face fully comes into frame. He looks like a guy who hasn't slept or eaten real food in a few days, with an added couple layers of complete panic. He has no clue where he is, who might've kidnapped him, what they want to use him for, but beneath the panic there's determination.
He made it this far; he won't let them win now.
Once he realizes the phone is broadcasting, he curses loudly and switches it off.
This plan would probably have gone a lot better if he hadn't been Skyping it. ]

Well, Sam's sure the angels would have something to say about it. ]
We don't have much on this place, but we do know this: we're stuck. There are people here from all over the place, but you'll probably recognize a few. [ There's a pause, and it takes Sam a minute to sort through his hazy memories. ] We don't know who's brought us here, why or how they're able to keep even angels tethered. Right now I think we're all just taking it a day at a time.
[ Crowley's presence is something Sam wants to mention, but he's not even sure Crowley's still there anymore. Last time he saw the demon, it was in the tunnels. Since then? Nothing. He wants to make sure before bringing it up. ]

Do I need to start warding myself in somewhere? Or do you guys have a safe house? [ Kevin hasn't really lived outside of warded rooms or safehouses or freaking Crowley's compound since he became a prophet. Even when he gets away from the Winchesters, he has hex bags and wards. It feels weird to be out and about. ]

Not anymore careful than normal. Since I've been here, most of the trouble we've run in to involves earthquakes, tunnels and sea monsters. [ But not since they showed up in this lab. Sam has to wonder if it was on purpose or if something actually did happen to the people here. ] Warding won't do much against whoever has us here, anyway.

Wait, sea monsters? Is that a thing? [ Why not, if everything else is a thing. ] Does any of this ever slow down for you guys?

[ Sam's had a conversation with Meja about her own sea monsters. It was interesting, and showed Sam he still has a lot to learn. Forget just Earth's monsters and stories - other worlds have it just as bad. ]
Things haven't been so bad since we've been here. Just confusion, but at least we're getting stocked up on food regularly. Had some trouble with that back in the town.

[ That's maybe the hardest thing to wrap his mind around. It was all angels and demons and tablets, and now it's... something completely different, and Kevin's not sure what place he has in this, other than being here. ]

[ They seem to be isolated enough, and anything that's been done so far hasn't netted any kind of useful results, or even destructive ones. Unless someone has a need to go crazy on some lab equipment. ]
What was the last thing you remember from back home, Kevin?

[ Because that sentence feels weirdly normal to him now. ]
What about you?

Was trying to cure Crowley. It's all fuzzy, I wasn't exactly operating at a hundred percent. [ More like a hundred and desperate percent. Cold sweats, fever, burning pain in his veins. Good times. ] Passed out right when Dean said the angels were falling from Heaven, and woke up here.

He feels like that ought to be more significant, but Kevin doesn't feel like much has changed since then. ]
Oh, well. I guess it's been a little while since then for me. [ There have been few breakthroughs worth talking about. Crowley's still in their basement and he guesses the angels are at war, but Kevin's not really all that invested in that. ]
I'm living with you guys now. [ He pauses uncertainly. ] And Crowley. You have him locked up in the dungeon.
