[ There's a scuffling, like someone's just tried to get up on their feet and failed, and then a loud, panicked voice rings out loudly. ]
What's going on, what is this?
[ More muffled sounds, then a loud tap against the communicator. ]
Why am I on a beach?!

Thanks for that though, it's nice to see that there's a decent collection of friendly enough people stuck here.

Has anyone explained to you that we seem to have all been pulled in from different universes?
no subject
[ Hey, she's not being tortured in a prison. Anyone seems friendly after that. ]
So different universes, huh? Must be something powerful pulling the strings to make that happen.

Mind if I ask what your world is like? Superheroes? Mutants? That kind of thing?

Would you prefer the long answer or the short answer to that?

Sharon Carter? I'm Anna. We spoke on the.. [ A small gesture towards the communicator on her wrist follows, along with a momentarily confused expression. What exactly would you call it? ]
Anyway. It's nice to meet you.

So what's your world like, Anna?
[Sorry for the lack of chit-chat, Anna. Sharon's a down-to-business kind of girl.]

[ To the point suits her just fine, but it's clear she's a little hesitant as she starts to speak. How much should she reveal, how much will Sharon even believe? ]
My world is demons, and angels. The Devil and God. Heaven and Hell.
[ The 'feet first, deep end' approach is the one she ends up going with, though she's not about to explain her involvement in it all just yet. Some secrets are safer kept hidden for now. ]

You aren't by any chance kidding me, are you?
no subject
[ That earns a smile, if a little wry, and she shrugs her shoulders. ]
I told you it was hard to swallow, didn't I?

[She thinks for a moment and then shakes her head.] I'm from a world with superheroes. Kind of took it for granted that if hell existed, I'd end up there sooner or later. I just... didn't expect there to be a world where Hell itself was taken for granted.
Unless... But I'm assuming. Is it a concept there, or have you actually been? Like, is it a really religious place, or are Heaven and Hell fact?

[ The wry smile tightens slightly, twists into something a little more unpleasant. Someone's certainly not Heaven's greatest cheerleader lately. ]
I'm very well acquainted with how real they are.

[At least that would put Sharon in more familiar territory.]
no subject
Oh, no. Nothing that simple, unfortunately, and a much less believable story.

I'm...an Angel.

Go on.

[ She's watching the other woman closely, it's rare that people take that piece of information this easy, and she half expects some kind of dramatic freak out any second now. ]
Celestial beings exist, in a real and not religious sense. They're not as friendly as humanity has been led to believe, though.

You said this place was better than where you were. Where were you?
