[Kurt's not having a good couple of days. The jarring and unnerving earthquake had the unfortunate side effect of completely leveling his major base of operations, the diner. So all cookie-baking activity has been moved to his house, which has a much smaller kitchen.
Never one to let troubles get him down, Kurt is carefully picking through the rubble to see if any spatula's survived. He could use the help, if you're passing along.
Or, if you're too far away, he's accidentally(?) left his communicator on, so the song he's softly singing can be heard all over the network.]

[Pauses, arching an eyebrow.] I think we're all far from home. But are things decidedly...different in...where-ever you're from?

Dunwall mostly, but all over Gristol and the Isles. People dress and speak very differently. We certainly have nothing like these. [He raises the communicator on his wrist.] The lights, stoves, everything runs on whale oil... and although we are close to the ocean here, the whales are markedly absent. I can't hear them at all.
What about your home?

[Now he looks interested.] Whale oil, hm? Interesting. What are the clothes like? [Kurt has priorities.]
Ohio? It's like this, minus the ocean.

Ohio. I've never heard of any place with that name.

It's...difficult to explain. It's small and flat and there are fields. Not a lot is really distinctive about it...cows, too. Lots of cows.
