[It is, and giving a nice shot of a wide-eyed little guy bundled up and sitting outside by the fountain. He watches the camera, but occasionally (just occasionally) takes a skittery look out to the side.] Hey, I--uh, hello.

Has anyone started catalogueing the wildlife around here? I mean--beyond robot bears. Natural wildlife: deer, rabbits, regular bears--uh, birds? Owls, maybe?

Heh. I figured out the cold part, actually. Would have been nice if they could have abducted my coat and boots too. How long have you been stuck here?

A couple of weeks now. I'm still adjusting to the whole thing, actually. Some people seem to have friends or family with them, but I don't.

Me either, if it's any comfort. AT least--I mean not as far as I've seen. Unless there's somewhere beyond sight.

It sort of is. No offense meant, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one alone here.

You know what they say about misery. We east coast kids can stick together, anyway.

There is that. [ She smiles a little, despite herself. ]

It might be prudent to warn you that there are some pretty large wolves in the woods. Don't go to far in if you can't defend yourself.

I've heard about the wolves. I'll be careful.

Have you seen any birds?

I've seen a few. Anything in particular you're looking for?

Just--the enormous predator kind?

[hark_and_hush]

Not that I've seen, but I haven't gone too deep. The predators mostly seem to be the ground-type, though.
