This is Phil Coulson. In an effort to keep organized and assess the situation, I'd like to try to get a rundown of everyone here. If I could get everyone to check in with me and let me know what sort of skills they might have, I would really appreciate that. Anything from medical knowledge to combat to cooking or carpentry could be useful and I would love some help with all this clerical stuff.

I'll be in the general store taking inventory if you prefer that to these communicators.

I've never done speed dating myself, but if it's like the last 24 hours, I'm not so sure I want to.

Absolutely! It beats sitting around twiddling my fingers and worrying!

Stop by when you get the chance. I'm trying to catalog what's going to spoil the fastest so we can eat that first.

[ And true to her word, she arrives at the general store minutes later. ]

[Phil pops his head up from the dairy aisle.]

Donna? I'm Phil. Nice to meet you.

[ Give a girl a heart attack why don't you, Phil! She shoots his a smile. ] You too.

So, where d'you want me to start?

Do you want to check expiration dates on some of the meat? We can freeze whatever we won't eat by then, assuming it's not already bad.

Absolutely! And if there's not enough freezer space we could totally salt it or sommat - like in the war and stuff.

People might not like it, but if we take the ice cream out of the store freezers, we can put the meat in there.

I'm pretty sure that the murder of ice cream is how wars start...

We could rush to eat all of it before it melts. What do you think?

Do I look like the kind of girl to turn down free ice cream? We should get everyone together and have like a meet and greet ice cream party!

Sounds good to me. If we're stuck here, we way as well eat ice cream while we figure it out.

I feel this may be the start of a beautiful friendship!

We're going to have the best office parties. Did you say you can bake?

I did. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine! Looks like the party food is sorted then - cake, cake and more cake.

[He grins.] Who doesn't love cake? You've got my attention.

Well then - once we've stock checked, itemised and complied lists of everything then I'll have to see what this place has in way of baking supplies - I might even let you be my guinea pig!

I am more than happy to eat cake, especially if it's for science. [He smiles.]

Work first. Then a cake date!

Sounds good to me. Cake's a good motivator for working faster.

Good. Because this stock check isn't going to do itself, mister.

[He laughs and picks his clipboard up again, giving a little salute.] Yes, Ma'am.

[It's nice to have some company for this stuff and Donna seems really sweet. He shoots her a smile before getting back to counting dairy products. She's right, of course. The yogurt won't count itself.]

[ His laugh only serves to make her laugh. Of course she's sweet - as long as you stay on her good side. She also has a vicious tongue and a mean right hook.

She sets to work on the meat. ] We could always use the stuff near it's date to make like a giant casserole or sommat...

The diner should have restaurant-sized cookware. I'm happy to help with vegetable chopping, too. Just don't let me near the stove.
