[ It doesn't take long for Raven to figure out how to get the communicator on. It does take her a little longer to decide whether or not she wants to actually do anything with that information, though. When the feed switches on she's sitting comfortably at the edge of the fountain, although the expression on her face is anything but entertained. ]

When I said no, I meant no. I don't know where all this... [ the feed jumps about a bit as she rotates her wrist, but it comes back to normal after a moment or two. ] technology has come from, or why you'd bother disguising it, but it's not happening. I'm not interested.

[ And then she frowns and folds one leg over the other, gaze dropping from the communicator to somewhere to the left of her. She's had enough of talking to the device on her wrist it seems, because after a moment or two the video flips and it becomes apparent that she's stood up and has started to walk through the town.

It lasts a moment longer before her wrist bumps her leg and it cuts out. ]

I wasn't created by any government agency, but yes, that is correct.

[By this point, he's almost come to expect that anyone he meets here won't be familiar with robots.]

In all probability, your government is not as advanced as you suspect. Before I came here, it was the year 3740 C.E.

[ Yeah, she's definitely not familiar. As in 'stare blankly for a moment or two before shaking her head to pull it together' not familiar. ]

I think I missed something here. It's 1962, not...3740.

[ She's not saying you're wrong, Daneel! Just...that you're wrong. Sorry. ]

It seems that different individuals have been brought here from different times. I admit that I've met no one else from a time period close to my own.

So whatever has brought us here, it can just- take us like that? From different times in history?

[ Safe to say she has a headache now just thinking about that one. ]

This does seem to be the case. I must say that even in my own time period, I'm not aware of any technology that allows for anything of this nature.
