[VOICE]
[Hey, guess who figured out the devices? A woman with a delightful, British accent who sounds, at the moment, a bit irked. And unfortunately, she hasn't figured out the whole privacy thing yet. Not that she really cares.]
It seems these...things...serve as some sort of form of communication. Agent Carter?
[This one pains her:]
Captain...America? Do either of you copy? We won't need to run civilians for communications, it seems. What's your status? I've run a search of the perimeter. I'm seeing no signs of an enemy.

Agent Carter.

[She glares up at the camera on the ceiling. She hasn't found a way to block it for good - everything she's done so far comes apart as soon as she leaves the room.]
What are your theories for how we got here?
no subject
She turns to Carter, sighing softly.]
I have several. I doubt any of them will sound particularly plausible to you. You might say my training and expertise lie a bit outside of the norm.

Would you like something to drink? The kitchen seems to be fully stocked, and as near as I can tell, it hasn't been poisoned. [And yet, Sharon prefers to drink from the sink. She holds up her glass.] Water?
no subject
No, thank you.
I suppose I'll show you mine if you show me yours. I've already mentioned some unpleasant dealings with an individual calling himself the Baron, yes? He's at the top of my list of suspects.

I understand that people are being pulled here from a variety of historical eras.

When are you from?
no subject
[She smirks. Her accent always gives her away a little bit.]
Not originally, of course.

[She takes a breath.] I suspect we're dealing with a multiverse situation. My expert on the subject isn't here, but it would account for people knowing different things, having universes with different people, or the same with different experiences. It might also account for the differences in time - different universes have different physics.
One major problem with the theory is that we don't know how to get back out.

[She leans back in her chair, crossing one leg over the other.]
I imagine whatever brought us here can get us back. Or whomever.
no subject
What did you do back home, doctor? I already know you know your way around a gun.
no subject
[She taps her earring absently.]
A bit used to giving orders, I'm afraid.
no subject
I was a spy back home. Most of my work has been with a government organization called SHIELD.
I have yet to talk to Coulson, but I think it would be wise to prepare for a worst-case scenario, which means we might be here a while and will need medical facilities. If we could get such facilities off the ground, perhaps we could liase? That way, if something happens, we can get mobilized faster and not have to worry about getting in each other's way.

[She tips the brim of her hat up with one finger.]
A spy? I'm curious. Who, exactly, were you spying on? I do hope the Germans aren't still a problem by your time.
no subject
Not many Germans, but a few still believe in a master race. Or revenge, which can sometimes be worse. I tend to work against terrorists. I've been to Europe, Russia, Africa, Asia, and outer space before. [Technically, in a bad continuum, but that was classified.]
Do you know any fighting techniques?
no subject
Besides the pistols? Some swordplay, although I don't relish it. I'm also decent at throwing a scalpel if need be.
