Whoever's snorting the dream dust, knock it off. And none of you are invited to my head, so keep out.

[ Running around in Charlie's dreams not too long ago was too much like what's going on now, though one weird thing sticks out. Well, weirder. ]

Whose fault is that city made out of rock candy? [ Or crystals. ] Can't you dream up people with faces next time?

Knew something was up when the juiced up Cas was having dreams. What do you think?

I don't know why I dreamed it; that's why I'm asking. And no, I didn't eat it. [ Did he think about it? He definitely did. ]

Everyone in it had the no-face thing going on. [ He shudders a little. It was spooky. ]

Dude. That's creepy as hell. Did you draw faces on with a magic marker? I totally would have.

No. [ He frowns, almost to himself. ] No, but they were spooked too. [ And he has enough spooky dream fodder not to have to come up with Big Rock Candy Mountain. ]

You been having these problems too?

[That's... concerning. But a lot of people have been dreaming weird stuff lately.]

Yeah. [She says simply, not wanting to get into too much detail.] Not really much we can do about it, huh? Except stay awake forever, but that doesn't usually go over so well.

Can't even get four hours of sleep in peace in this place. [ He shoots Cas a look. ] No, I don't need my hand held. Do you need your hand held? [ He says it dismissively, almost snapping, but... no, really, if Cas says he does, Dean would. ]

I have no idea what you're talking about. [ Boom! Check out that poker face. He hasn't even had any of those dreams since he got here. And there were always chicks involved anyway! ]

Yeah right. We all know those cowboy boots get you hard. Or, wait... is it angels in dirty trench coats instead? [ Ha! Take that, Dean. ]

Maybe I should sell tickets to watch my dreams...

Angels in trench coats? Aw, come on, Meg. We all know who dreams about those. [ Dean's doing an awesome job of pushing back in his opinion, so there. ]

I don't know about that. Wouldn't say they were real sweet.

[ Shut up. She doesn't have sex dreams about Cas. Okay, maybe. On occasion. Don't judge. ]

We can't all dreams about rainbows and puppies.

What makes you think we'd want to go to your head? [ Because she also doesn't want anyone in her head, so... ]

I'm just putting out the Not Welcome sign before anyone gets any ideas. Besides, you oughta stay out of mine anyway. I don't want to get arrested. [ He gives her a tight smile. His days of hitting on the maybe legal are long past him now. ]

Because that was exactly what I wanted to do. [ Nope. And creep ] I don't like people in my dreams and I don't want to be in anyone elses. Only sick people would enjoy it. [ Like Peter stupid Hale ]

[venatical]

Wow, don't sell yourself too much or anything. [ Though now he's concerned for her. She's too young for whacked out nightmares. ]

Don't have a way to keep people out yet, sweetheart. [ Not said in a creepy voice, more a semi-condescending one. Improvement! ] Working on it though. In the meantime, coffee?

I think it's safe to assume that most everyone here shares these sentiments.

[She doesn't look terribly thrilled with the situation, herself -- though addressing Dean in the first place is enough to put her in a sour mood these days, considering the company he's been keeping.]

I don't think invitations matter much, Deano.

[ A lot of shit's happened. People change, sort of. He's already done a lot of things he isn't proud of since he got here, and he can't take any of them back. ]

Maybe if I say it loud enough, it'll reach through to dream land. How's it on your end? You getting the same thing?

[Which, on that note, she really hopes he doesn't end up stepping into her dreams somehow, because that would be all kinds of embarrassing, considering he's the subject of at least one or two.]

I saw my dad. It was one of mom's dreams.

[ She should stay out of his too. He can't promise who'll feature in the embarrassing ones. If it's Meg, she'll be pissed. If it's Cas, Dean will want to vomit and brain bleach.

He winces for her and ducks his head. ]

Good dream? [ Doesn't make it hurt any less, but it does make a difference. ]
