001 » video » day 85

[ when the video comes on, it's on accident, and there's a moment there where the feed shakes around a bit before it jerks - almost as if someone hit it, before it tilts back to a head full of red hair and a very unamused look. ]

Not sure on what planet these kinds of kidnapping-and-drugging shenanigans are even legal, but hey, I can take a joke. You did a great job setting this up, but genre clash? Doesn't start till next month. And this whole Silent Hill thing - what did you call it, Cape Kore? - while really cool and thought out and overall A plus for effort, still not okay. Not a game, here! [ and wow, okay, flashback. why are there so many weirdos who take this game too seriously? she's really done getting kidnapped, and there's no hot fairy here. so immediate negative points. ]

The wrist communicator is really cool. Feeling a little Might Morphin, just without the ti kwan do or spandex suits. Not that I want the suits, but just, if you're going to go half-way might as well go the full way. Go big or go home. Right? [ and at this point she's just kind of babbling. someone's starting to feel really, really nervous. ] I'm serious, guys. Not funny. I just- home? Yeah? Please?

[ there's a moment where she bites her lower lip, looking off and around her - seeing only a cape and a lighthouse and totally unable to drop that 'Big Brother is Watching' feeling creeping down the back of her neck. after the moment is over, she closes her eyes, as if she's finally convincing her to say something she'd been worried about saying.

and, with her eyes closed (though her left does peek open to the camera), she continues. while she is secretly hoping no one answers this last bit because that would not be good. really really not good. ]

And Sam and Dean, if you two are here...help?

Trust me, it wasn't voluntary. Deano's still whining his grumpy little princess ass off about it. And FYI, I can save you some time and effort and tell you it is not worth the risk. 80% mortality rate and no dental plan worth speaking of - you'd be better off working at Walmart.

[No comment on the power of bromance, naturally, other than an unimpressed little snort.]

So yeah, I know 'em. Wish I didn't, but I didn't get a whole lot of say in it, more's the pity.

I'm not exactly a huge fan of the books - too much sex and violence, they gave me nightmares - but trust me, I'm well aware of their ability to get themselves into epic amounts of shit. Whiiiich it sounds like you've caught. Sorry to say you're most likely stuck with it - their bad luck's so extreme it's become contagious. You're probably doomed.

[Cheery, huh?]

Vaguely involved, yeah, what with being a god and all. Loki, nice to meetcha.

[He's taking a chance by admitting that, true, but the last he'd heard the books hadn't been published past Dean going to Hell. He shouldn't be giving away who he is by admitting it, even if she does figure out he's the Trickster.]

What I'm really 'not into' is knowing in any detail what the Brothers Dim are like in bed. That I can do without. [Not that he'd actually read the sex scenes. Or the books at all, pretty much. He'd been tempted to, just for the sake of being able to tease his two least favourite hunters in the world, but he couldn't really be bothered, didn't want to know, and definitely didn't want to sympathise with them any more than he already did.] Besides, this is still less crazy than all the grade-A insanity that's been going on back at the ranch. You're better off here.

[The sad part of that is that it's probably true. Admittedly he's only heard about the worst parts of 'the future', and admittedly Cape Kore has its occasional (and often unpleasant) bizarre twists, but even so he at least would rather be here than back in their own world.]

Very much like trickster Loki, yes. [And boy is he pleased she's from his world for that one, because people from the Marvel universe getting him confused with their version had tended to react somewhat negatively. Not least Loki himself, who hadn't been best pleased that some clown was going around claiming to be him and sullying his reputation.] Enchanté, et cetera.

[ooc: yeah, that sounds right :) i thiiiink she should know everything up to the end of s5 where we saw chuck finish writing, but it's up to you obviously since i think it's never stated outright.]

Yeah, well, the pizza and girls are my favourite parts. Well - second favourite parts. First place goes to an absence of Winchester, whiiiich I would pretty definitely say is my favourite part of anything ever. [A mild exaggeration, perhaps, but only mild, especially now that he and Dean are on even worse terms than usual.] Given the choice between Leviathans and, uh, this provincial life, I think I'll take Cape Kore. But hey, that might just be my kidnapping kink talking.

[He presses his lips together and makes a tiny little frustrated noise.]

Still in witness protection Gabriel? Introduces himself as Loki for a reason Gabriel? Ringing any bells? [He shakes his head. It's not as big a secret as he'd like it to be.] Forget it, everybody else does. Yes, that Gabriel. Do you need a minute to bask? I can wait. Just try not to genuflect, it's always so embarrassing.
hung_garian: (I'd double that entendre.)

They did, huh? Good for them. [He's sure it doesn't mean everything's gonna be sunshine and rainbows, but it does beat another Apocalypse. Besides, he's not exactly keeping up-to-date on the future. He was interested initially but since then everything seems to have -- not necessarily gone downhill, but at least not substantially improved.] Probably woulda been good if they'd managed not to fuck everything up in the first place, but at least they didn't completely screw the pooch.

Not to blow my own trumpet, but yes, I expect it is. I'm happy to do autographs, if you got something you'd like signing. [He waggles his eyebrows suggestively. Ah - asshole to hitting on the newbie in the space of just a few minutes, and somehow without actually stopping being an asshoe. Go figure.] Loki's the current favourite. Course, you can call me whatever you like.

A for effort, sure, D for actual effect. Guess which impresses me more. [Of course, he's generally on the Winchesters' side where it counts. He just enjoys bitching about them, and Dean in particular has been seriously in his bad books lately.]

They are and I do. Alas, not everyone here is as enthusiastic about ice cream and orgies as I am, but I'm working on winning some more folks over to my way of thinking. [He's not, or at least he's not having much success. That being said, he thinks there might be enough interested parties to actually get around to organising an orgy at some point. He makes a mental note to suggest it as loudly and publicly as he can.] And don't feel obliged to stick to Loki if you can come up with something more creative. I'm also currently going by Pendragon, Gwydion and Britney Spears. Possibly a few others too - it's so difficult to keep track.
hung_garian: (Who died and made you queen?)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-07-03 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Who d'you take me for, Hodr? Of course the girls are hot. Everyone's hot. Best thing about this place is whoever brought us here is extremely shallow. [Well, perhaps it's coincidence. But it's difficult not to notice that the people here are predominantly very attractive... not that he's complaining, not in the slightest.] I think Toxic's more me, don't you? But I'll go with whichever Britney isn't bald and crazy. Not sure even I could pull off that look.
hung_garian: (And that's how we got banned from Paris)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-07-05 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, there are other good things. No Apocalypse, plenty of alcohol, real strong community spirit...

[Plenty of angels who don't want to kill each other and are inexplicably willing to forgive him, but that's not the sort of thing one mentions to strangers.]

I'll keep that in mind, sugar. Sparkly skin suits can go on the bucket list, though thinking back to the eighties, I'm not sure they're entirely flattering.
hung_garian: (I like you)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-07-07 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, you can until your pal Willie Stokes drinks the bar dry. Should take him at least another day though, if you leave time for him passing out at some point, so you've got a little while. And FYI, the eighties ended for a reason. Let's give 'em the respect they deserve by letting them stay gone, hm?
hung_garian: (I'm sorry; I don't speak stupid)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-07-08 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
You sure? I'm not wearing a skin suit without backup, honey.
hung_garian: (Camp as hell but still kicking your ass)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-07-10 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess not. How embarrassing would it be if we both showed up wearing the same thing, right?
hung_garian: (And that's how we got banned from Paris)

Or, as we civilised people say, an episode of Glee.
