[ when the video comes on, it's on accident, and there's a moment there where the feed shakes around a bit before it jerks - almost as if someone hit it, before it tilts back to a head full of red hair and a very unamused look. ]

Not sure on what planet these kinds of kidnapping-and-drugging shenanigans are even legal, but hey, I can take a joke. You did a great job setting this up, but genre clash? Doesn't start till next month. And this whole Silent Hill thing - what did you call it, Cape Kore? - while really cool and thought out and overall A plus for effort, still not okay. Not a game, here! [ and wow, okay, flashback. why are there so many weirdos who take this game too seriously? she's really done getting kidnapped, and there's no hot fairy here. so immediate negative points. ]

The wrist communicator is really cool. Feeling a little Might Morphin, just without the ti kwan do or spandex suits. Not that I want the suits, but just, if you're going to go half-way might as well go the full way. Go big or go home. Right? [ and at this point she's just kind of babbling. someone's starting to feel really, really nervous. ] I'm serious, guys. Not funny. I just- home? Yeah? Please?

[ there's a moment where she bites her lower lip, looking off and around her - seeing only a cape and a lighthouse and totally unable to drop that 'Big Brother is Watching' feeling creeping down the back of her neck. after the moment is over, she closes her eyes, as if she's finally convincing her to say something she'd been worried about saying.

and, with her eyes closed (though her left does peek open to the camera), she continues. while she is secretly hoping no one answers this last bit because that would not be good. really really not good. ]

And Sam and Dean, if you two are here...help?

[Those are a lot of references that she doesn't catch, but she knows a nervous-looking person when she sees one. Not a terrific time for a new person to show up - but not the worst, either. Fortescue offers the newcomer a friendly smile, speaking with an accent that Charlie would recognize as British.]

I think we're fresh out of spandex suits, if we ever had them to begin with. And you're correct, nothing about this is particularly legal.

[ Here enjoy this semi familiar face that isn't what you think at all. Alec isn't sure what made him want to comment, but here he is. He's only been here a day longer than Charlie and he already has decided he hates it. He's got a guy with his face and he's still not a hundred percent sure that Manticore isn't responsible for this. Maybe they came back in full force and this was their new experiment. If so it was really shitty and not really working that well.

She talks a lot though and Alec has to focus on her pop culture references. A lot of that stuff died out by the time it got to him. He's from 2020 so a lot of the recent pop culture references are lost on him. He didn't learn too much about that crap in Manticore either. Sure they equipped him with info when he went on operations, but it was rare he dug too deep into this stuff. She's an interesting chick though. ] You're boned. Think of this like a permanent vacation you never actually wanted.

Luckily for all of us with an ounce of sanity, only half the Dumb & Dumber duo's here. Unluckily, it's Dumber - weigh up the pros and cons as you will, but as irritating as I find the Sasquatch's hairy brooding, he's still less of a pain in the ass than Mr. Shoot First, Questions Never here.

[That gets the prerequisite Complaining About Winchesters out of the way, at least.]

Whoever runs this place must have a thing for our world. We do have a Dean! Haven't seen him today, but if you go to sleep you might wander into his dreams. [Balthazar looks and sounds tired, which makes him seem possibly even less angelic than usual. Which is tricky.]

[ Castiel legitimately has no idea what she's saying for half of that. He nearly dismisses the entire thing, but then he hears one of his perk words... ]

How do you know the Winchesters?

We've got Dean, but we're short one Sam.

[Jo offers the unfamiliar girl a sympathetic smile. Yeah, it's all kinds of not good, but it looks like there's one more to add to the tally of people who have rubbed shoulders with the Winchesters at one point or another. She's hoping that this girl is one of the friendlier ones -- at the moment, that's impression she's getting, at least.]
