[intraining]

[ when the video comes on, it's on accident, and there's a moment there where the feed shakes around a bit before it jerks - almost as if someone hit it, before it tilts back to a head full of red hair and a very unamused look. ]

Not sure on what planet these kinds of kidnapping-and-drugging shenanigans are even legal, but hey, I can take a joke. You did a great job setting this up, but genre clash? Doesn't start till next month. And this whole Silent Hill thing - what did you call it, Cape Kore? - while really cool and thought out and overall A plus for effort, still not okay. Not a game, here! [ and wow, okay, flashback. why are there so many weirdos who take this game too seriously? she's really done getting kidnapped, and there's no hot fairy here. so immediate negative points. ]

The wrist communicator is really cool. Feeling a little Might Morphin, just without the ti kwan do or spandex suits. Not that I want the suits, but just, if you're going to go half-way might as well go the full way. Go big or go home. Right? [ and at this point she's just kind of babbling. someone's starting to feel really, really nervous. ] I'm serious, guys. Not funny. I just- home? Yeah? Please?

[ there's a moment where she bites her lower lip, looking off and around her - seeing only a cape and a lighthouse and totally unable to drop that 'Big Brother is Watching' feeling creeping down the back of her neck. after the moment is over, she closes her eyes, as if she's finally convincing her to say something she'd been worried about saying.

and, with her eyes closed (though her left does peek open to the camera), she continues. while she is secretly hoping no one answers this last bit because that would not be good. really really not good. ]

And Sam and Dean, if you two are here...help?

Only that the inevitable next question is 'why can't you get us out of this place, then?'. And the same explanation gets tedious over time.

Well...all right, there are also a few people about who don't want their worldviews destroyed. I'm trying to be nice.

Dean said your angel mojo was kind of boinked. Guessing it's a little stronger than angel sigils and stuff.

[ oh you. always thinking of others. ]

Sometimes I forget there are still people like that out there.

Yes...to a certain degree. None of us knows where we are, and none of us can escape. Within the place, though, we seem to have the usual capabilities. Thus far.

[He makes a small grimace at her observation and shrugs.] You can't imagine someone hearing there are angels and immediately turning around to wonder why we weren't available to prevent various tragedies on a personal and worldwide scale? Why do bad things happen to good people? Why does anything happen to anyone?

No one wants to hear 'I don't know'.

[intraining]

Well that's...unfortunately fortunate? Better than being stripped naked I guess.

[ but also not really because man, that's gotta be hella frustrating.

listening to him explain makes her feel a little awkward, though, because she can imagine how that must suck. ]

I didn't think that was your forte, though. Isn't the big man supposed to be in charge of that? [ and there go those defensive hands, right up there. ] Not saying I don't, I don't know. Believe or whatever you want to call it. I just feel like that's a lot of responsibility.

The big man isn't here. [He doesn't sound offended, just a little bit tired.] But people are inclined to assume we have a direct line, which is no longer true, if it ever was.

You don't have to believe in anything on my account. I really don't care whether you go to church or sleep in on Sundays. I might laugh if you're a Satanist, but other than that... [shrug.]

[intraining]

Isn't here or isn't 'here'? [ the second here gets a little twirl with her finger to let him know she basically means anywhere.

because uh, she's not that big in the whole ~religion~ thing but isn't the big thing about God that's he's omnipresent? as in everywhere, all the time? ]

Yeah uh, Satanism was never my thing. I don't think I look good in black robes chanting some kind of crazy satanist chant. Thing. No thank you.

[tryingitall]

Both, I think. [He says grimly, shaking his head.]

I'm told black robes are always in, but I'm relatively certain Lucifer himself simply finds Satanists annoying.

[intraining]

[ oh, well. good. good to know. charlie just sighs a little because - well - there goes that option. if it was an option at all. ]

I don't know, I feel like with the fire and brimstone they'd get a little toasty. [ the idea of lucifer being annoyed with satanists makes her laugh a little, though. ] Aren't they his people?

[tryingitall]

There is that, yes, but that's the price we pay for fashion. [He grins briefly, then shakes his head, serious again.]

Lucifer has never liked humans. Doesn't matter how much they like him, or think they do. As far as he's concerned, they're vermin.

[intraining]

Rather not pay that price. [ like. her soul. she'd rather keep that as long as she can. ]

Ah, well, good to know for the next time I- you know - run into him. [ ..... and suddenly she has a thought and looks unbelievably terrified. ] He's not here, is he?

[tryingitall]

[Souls are always in style.

Balthazar smiles at the alarm, shaking his head. He misses Lucifer, truth be told, but not having him around simplifies things, and makes it a lot safer for human residents.] Not right now. He was here, though. And he may come back. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

[intraining]

But he's not right now.

[ okay good. charlie will just...not actually relax, but sort of. just a tiny bit. ]

Sorry, I'm sure you're all like, bros and all. But not having the Devil around really helps with my anxiety.

[tryingitall]

Not at the moment, no.

And...well. He's family and I love him, but he's also terrifying. Don't worry, I can relate. [And Raphael is only slightly less frightening, to be honest.]

[intraining]

Sweet. [ and you, good sir, get two thumbs up for this. ] Lemme know when he stops by so I can go in hiding for the rest of my life.
