[ Just like everybody else, Jet looks tired. Worn. But he doesn't make mention of it, and he doesn't want to think about anything that has happened the past few days, let alone talk about it. Still. Some things need to be addressed. So he comes on the communicators, a bandana pushing his hair back out of his face, with his eyepatch on for the comfort of his audience. ]

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Jet. If anybody needs it, I have some measure of medical experience, which I offer to everybody here. No questions asked.

[ And now he looks away for a moment - but he has to look at the communicator for this news. It'd be disrespectful not to. His expression goes flat. ] Also... as of last night, Party Poison is - [ A pause. Just do it bluntly. ] - is dead. I thought there may be some who would need to know.

And she just saw him... she literally just saw him not too long ago and everything was mostly okay. She sniffs, covering her mouth and trying to be calm because it's not like she liked him or anything...

Hale's probably dead, Phil's missing, and now Party's gone, too.]

... What about KK? How is he?

I heard you the first time. I was just in shock.

[A pause.]

I'm very sorry to hear that he died.

How? [Insensitive and inappropriate? Yup, that's Logan. However, if their captors are directly involved and someone needs to be carved up for this, he's volunteering.]

[ There's a long pause before he can answer. ] The paranoia, I think. He thought he was being tracked, and he's - typically used to solving problems by himself. Blood always seems to play a factor in his solutions.

[His brow furrows as he soaks up what Jet is saying.] Shit... [He pauses again before grimly continuing.] If you need help burying him, or whatever you decide to do, I'm volunteering.

Was it... the implants? [ She knew she should've kept a closer eye on him. ]

... Oh, poor Seb.

[ Pause. ]

The idea of implants, I think, but I'm not sure, seeing as I can't exactly ask him. Seb?

[ Wow. That's not how she was expecting to start the day. ]

I'm about as well as you could expect. [ So y'know, broken up, but he doesn't show it. ] I feel like I've spent more time warding off the well wishers than being productive. [ That's a joke! It's said gently. ]

I'm really sorry. [ She pauses briefly, because it's a bit of a weird offer to give someone you've spoken to once, but presses on anyway.] If you want to take a bit of a break from warding off, you could go for a walk or something? I'll come with you, if you want.

Party is dead. How did this happen?

[His voice slurs, slightly.]

[ This time, when he has to explain it, his voice wavers. Just slightly. ] The paranoia in the air. He tried to destroy an implant that wasn't there, and bled to death.

[Logically, there isn't anything he could have done. He wasn't there. It's still distressing, and he shuts his eyes in an analogue to pain, swaying visibly.]

[He shuts off the feed. He needs to recover.]

I'm sorry about Party.

[ She is, partly due to how recently she had seen him, how she hadn't helped, but that's not why she's responded. After a quick clearing of her throat, she presses on. ]

The medical offer though, if anyone comes to you with anything you can't handle, anything life threatening...get in contact with me please. I'm Anna.

[ No one else is dying here, she's going to make sure of it. ]

I'm not unused to death. Thank you for your condolences, though. [ It's quiet, and appreciative; for the first time in a long time, he almost doesn't feel up enough to answering anything from anybody, or doing anything. That, he thinks idly, is probably a sign of depression.

He answers anyway.] I'll remember that. Are you a doctor? I'm only a field medic, so there's only so much I can do.

[ She should say more, but...well, Anna's not really good at dealing with grief. From her own to anyone elses, let alone someone she's never spoken to before.

So yeah, she's just going to press on with the business side of things. ]

[ Maybe being more open about that would have kept him alive. ]

[He's looking worn down, but there's more sanity in his eyes than there has been in a few days. Now it just happens to be mixed up in grief and shock.]

[ And back to the dull, quiet voice: ] The hallucinations, I think, was what did it. It was Sherlock who said it was hallucinations? [ Just keep it clinical. ] Party Poison believed there were trackers that had been implanted in his wrists, and I assume he died of the blood loss that came with trying to dig them out.

[ Oh, boy, and there's a death. He didn't know the guy but he knows the one delivering the news alright enough, and it's enough to leave him a little shaken, a little more worried about this place. Not enough people around here to start suddenly dropping dead. Then again, maybe that's the point of the thing. Scare everyone straight. ]

[ He tiptoes around that topic for now, addresses the former. ]

You a doctor or somethin', Jet? Ya didn't say.

[ Jet can offer a small smile for Jesse. Maybe it's a little dull, but hey. ]

I'm more of a field medic. I know the most about bandaging people up in the crew, and that's about it. But I can do it under pressure, I think that's my strong point.
