This is Phil Coulson. In an effort to keep organized and assess the situation, I'd like to try to get a rundown of everyone here. If I could get everyone to check in with me and let me know what sort of skills they might have, I would really appreciate that. Anything from medical knowledge to combat to cooking or carpentry could be useful and I would love some help with all this clerical stuff.

I'll be in the general store taking inventory if you prefer that to these communicators.

I don't know. One of us has been unconscious since we got here, so we've been taking turns watching him while exploring. We're not big on trusting outsiders, seeing that we already know we have an enemy in our midst.

[at least one to Sam still. He had yet to tell Dean about the Trickster being here]

Here? Who is it? Do you think they could have something to do with what brought us here?

[Okay, he'd mentioned subtlety to Carter, but Sam had brought up the subject.]

He's a Trickster, a demi-god. Kinda like the Norse Loki. He can create pocket universes and trap people in them, so I wouldn't put it past him that he, or else someone like him, would be involved.

... kinda short? Moderately annoying? Accepts tidings of candy and alcohol?

Sounds like you've met him already. You have my sympathies.

[theshield_agent]

He really that bad? [Phil has found him somewhat entertaining, but he knows better than to think anyone is harmless or trustworthy. It's pretty clear that whatever that man is, he's far from either one.]

He claims his name is Loki, but he's nothing like the Loki I have experience with.

Before I woke up here, he had created a pocket dimension and stuck me and my brother in it. That dimension was a series of crappy television genre shows. We had just finished the procedural cop show segment of our torture. Complete with the sunglasses at night and the crappy puns.

He's basically a trickster demon. Loki is associate with the type, but so would be the native american coyote, or the raven, or greek mythology would line up with Hermes. I don't know if he's the actual Loki, or using it as a stage name when convenient.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on him. So far I've only had dealings with Norse mythological things coming at me. Are you telling me I have to worry about the rest of these things, too?

[Phil's not so sure he can handle multiple entire pantheons of gods messing things up on his planet.]

Pretty much. I mean, if one set of gods are real, why wouldn't they all be? I haven't met many though. This one just enjoys being a pain in my ass.

Well, I feel like I'm living in an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess and there's a god who likes to go around pulling your pigtails. I'd be worried, too.

But you can see why I don't believe that he's innocent in this at all.

Absolutely. Not only does he have a history of doing things to you, but he sounds pretty powerful. Something would have to be more powerful than him to trap him here. It's a scary thought.

If he's truly trapped here and not just screwing with all of us.

[theshield_agent]

Do you have any idea how we could figure that out? Some kind of trap or something? He told me he likes candy. That's about all I've got.

The only way to take him out is to stab him with a stake covered in blood of one of his victims. Of course, he's also got the ability to create multiple duplicates of himself as well as shape-shift to look like anyone he wants to, so it's virtually impossible to kill.

Great, so I guess we just hope it's not him, although at we know even less about whatever it is if it wasn't him.

I'd rather it just be him, which means eventually he'd get bored and send us all back.

[Great. The last place he wants to be. About to die.]

You think he'd be will to send me forward a few days? I would give him all the candy in the world for that.

If he likes you, you probably could bribe him.

Good, because I don't think my usual tactics of intimidation and concussing will work.

Pretty much. But stake covered in the blood of his victim is supposed to work. Just in case you ever need to. I think I qualify as a repeat victim.

Wonder if I'd count. [He thinks for a moment.] Different Loki and technically I'm not a victim... yet.

Not all that sure on how alternate realities work in relation to spells. I'm not a wizard.

I have a feeling finding out might end painfully for me, so I think I'm just going to keep that to theoretical discussion only.

I would suggest that. Probably the smartest plan.
