005 | Tony Stark | Video
[ For a fleeting moment, Tony Stark’s face fills the screen. Those who know him might recognize his piercing eyes and his immaculately kept hair, perfectly trimmed and styled to look like the dashing figure of the celebrity he is back home. Maybe his skin’s a little paler than usual. And maybe some of its imperfections are gone. But it’s difficult to tell, because it only lasts for a moment.
Two luminous, glowing red orbs suddenly fill the screen as Tony pulls the communicator closer. His lips curve into a devilishly mischievous smirk, but hidden as it as by the limitations of the camera, no one can appreciate it. When he speaks, his voice is a low, throaty purr, edged with just a hint wickedness. ]
Cape Kore. I’ve got a question for you.
[ He moves his arm, pulling it back so more of his finely muscled torso and broad shoulders can be seen. In his skin-tight tank top, there’s plenty of pale, flawless skin to behold. Slowly, he stalks from the shadows of his home’s porch into the brilliant light of the morning.
And the sun, rising over the horizon, fans rays of light over his skin, setting it alight, sparking flashes of fire like a diamond. It’s as though the man is no man at all, but a being of light, angelic and perfect. ]
Do I dazzle you?
(A/N: omg this is my first time writing one of these!! plz be gentle. my poor babu is having a bad day. it will get better tho~ ^_^)

[ He concentrates and transforms into Tonypire. It's not difficult, actually, since the source material's right in front of him. Really, he just wanted to see if he could. ]
no subject
Is that what I actually look like? Seriously?
[ The worst part is, he can't decide whether he ought to be impressed by what he's become or offended. Since it's Twilight, he's leaning toward the latter. ]

[ Okay, it's really weird hearing Tony's voice coming out of his mouth. But he's testing out the fangs. ]
Can't you turn into a bat? I can't seem to turn into a bat.
no subject
No. No bats, no wolves, no nothing. I have sparkles and that's it. I told you, this is worst vampire ever.
no subject
Is this really what girls like these days?
[ Steve's making that lost puppy face, except it's on Tony's face, which is probably beyond awkward. ]
no subject
Apparently it is. I don't really—
[ He cocks his head. ]
How are you doing that with my face?
no subject
[ Oh god, now he's doing deer in headlights. Seriously, Tony's eyes are pretty big and Steve's making him look kind of like a caricature. ]
no subject
I swear, Steve, if you start crying right now, I'm out of here.
no subject
[ Now he just looks incredulous, which is probably more familiar. ]
Hold on, I'm going to change back.
[ He apparently has to close his eyes to do so. ]
no subject
Is it getting easier? Now that you're doing it more often?
no subject
I guess not.
[ He tries again, thinking of a very strong memory. He ends up in an SSR shirt and pants that end above his ankles, but at least he's Steve Rogers. ]
no subject
He points toward the cuffs of Steve's pants. ]
Now we just have to work on your clothes replication.
no subject
Yeah, these weren't exactly my favorite thing to run in.
[ He closes his eyes again and doesn't open them until he feels the helmet's weight on his head. ]
Better?
no subject
[ He hasn't missed what Steve's just said, though, and he can't let it go. ]
What do you mean, run in them?
no subject
Those were the last pants I wore before I became this way. Didn't have time to change out of them before shots were fired. I still think I'd have been faster in better pants.
no subject
Show me.
[ He nods toward the pants. ]
Those look all right. And if they're not, change them. But show me. Race me.
no subject
Race you up the lighthouse. You ready?
no subject
[ He hasn't pushed the limits of his speed yet, and if anyone can help him do that, he's convinced it's Steve. What he's not convinced is whether or not he can actually win. But maybe in this case, keeping up with him is better than winning. ]
Three. Two. One. Go.
no subject
Steve, however, has an edge on the experience.
And he definitely doesn't want to lose to a sparklepire. ]
You're pretty fast in that!
no subject
There's gotta be some pay-off, right? Otherwise I'm just a glorified sparkly mosquito.
[ Which is horrible, and the only way Tony knows to deal with it is to make fun of it. ]
no subject
[ People they pass probably think they're crazy, but this is good for them. This is how Steve learned to adjust to his new body, stumbling around Brooklyn like an unwieldy fawn.
He pushes himself harder, to give Tony chase. ]
no subject
[ It's the uncomfortable conversation, not the fact that Steve's running faster, that gives Tony the impetus to pick up the pace. He can't outrun the things that worry him, but damned if he won't try anyway. ]
no subject
[ He hasn't had a workout like this in awhile; it's pretty nice. They're closing in on the lighthouse, so someone's going to have to open the doors. There's enough room to run two abreast, but it'll be tight with Tony's new shoulders. ]
