[ For a fleeting moment, Tony Stark’s face fills the screen. Those who know him might recognize his piercing eyes and his immaculately kept hair, perfectly trimmed and styled to look like the dashing figure of the celebrity he is back home. Maybe his skin’s a little paler than usual. And maybe some of its imperfections are gone. But it’s difficult to tell, because it only lasts for a moment.

Two luminous, glowing red orbs suddenly fill the screen as Tony pulls the communicator closer. His lips curve into a devilishly mischievous smirk, but hidden as it as by the limitations of the camera, no one can appreciate it. When he speaks, his voice is a low, throaty purr, edged with just a hint wickedness. ]

Cape Kore. I’ve got a question for you.

[ He moves his arm, pulling it back so more of his finely muscled torso and broad shoulders can be seen. In his skin-tight tank top, there’s plenty of pale, flawless skin to behold. Slowly, he stalks from the shadows of his home’s porch into the brilliant light of the morning.

And the sun, rising over the horizon, fans rays of light over his skin, setting it alight, sparking flashes of fire like a diamond. It’s as though the man is no man at all, but a being of light, angelic and perfect. ]

Do I dazzle you?

[Charlie doesn't look all that fabulous today. Her skin is paler than usual, features quite possibly more angular. And her eyes are a solid black. When she speaks, her teeth may or may not show as a little sharper than usual.]

[Wallie looks like he's been laughing, and he has. A lot. He has no idea what's going on, and he'd been in a bit of a state about it a moment ago, but thank god for Tony, because he really needed that laugh.]

Impressive! Wish I'd come out of whatever's going on so... pretty.

[He tips the camera downward to show off his new pair of legs to match the small curling horns on his head. His legs are hairy and end in cloven hooves. Goat legs. Wallie brings the camera up again, and he's making a face.]

I have a little tail, too.

Woah, hold up, let me just find my shades. Haven't got an afterimage like that off a person since the glam rock movement.

[ All Tony gets from Jesse is an audio post of a wolf whistle. A long and drawn out wolf whistle. Also, laughing. ]

[Charlie is completely aware that Tony isn't real diamonds. For some reason he's got a sense for that, now. But his eyes can't help but be glued to all that sparkle.]

You wouldn't want to trade, would you? [ He's been avoiding wayward patches of sunlight in his house. When he speaks his teeth glint in his mouth. ] I think I'd find glittering like a diamond much more interesting than smoking each time a curtain twitches.

[ Besides, he could deal with diamond skin. It would remind him of Emma. Perversely stealing that from her would please him. ]

If I say no, does that rule out any and all future, late-night discussions of astrophysics and fine, tailored clothing? Because I will suffer the hideous pun for more of that. [Ooooh, even a smile from her! Someone's in a good mood now that Kobra is back.]
