[ Sam wakes up in his room feeling groggy and disorientated. It doesn't take him long to notice that this is not his room back at the Bunker and that, alone, is enough to put him on edge.

The dizziness only adds to it. He tries to clear his mind enough to poke at the smartphone which triggers the message. Cape Kore? Science Center? What the hell? What kind of kidnappers kidnap someone and leave them with a freakin' phone?

He pushes himself to his feet - bad mistake - a wave of nausea passes over him and standing up is incredibly challenging. Walking? Forget it. He flops back on the bed and toys with the phone some more, until he finds the video setting. ]

Uh... [ Way to show intellect there, Sam. ] The hell just happened? Was I roofied?

... Dean? ... Cas?

[A book is being held up by Fortescue, who may or may not be tipsy from a bout of earlier drinking. The title in question is Twilight. While some have their own personal reasons for disliking said book, Fortescue's concerns are slightly different.]

What is this rubbish? Why is this a vampire book? Did no one tell the author that vampires went out of fashion ten years ago?

The Cullens are Fae, hence the sparkling, and Bella Swan is a stalker. I thought this was well understood. Universe that this book came from — you disappoint me.

He's handsome, but there's an impressive scowl upon his face that mars that.]

Right, whose idea of a funny joke is this? [The feed jostles a bit.] Y'know, had enough shit dealin' with Kaiju, I don't have time to bother with some bodgy kidnap attempt.

[Except, time is really all he has now -- Chuck's jaw clenches, his brow furrows, and he scoffs.]

[The feed is focused on a young teen's face. Her hair's dirty, there are bags under her eyes, and there's evidence of having recently had a bloody nose as well as a spatter of it across her cheek. Though she at least seems to know what to do with a smartphone, she still gives the phone a confused frown.]

Is this even... I don't think I called anyone? Maybe it's like a public broadcast? Or I'm just talking to myself.

Okay, if anyone can see this, can you let me know, please? Even if you don't have any information or whatever, I am freaking the hell out, please just let me know there's someone else here. I mean, if you've got answers, I am so not about to turn that down, because I've got about a million questions, but, y'know. One thing at a time, right?
