Video || Day 77
[Welcome to the semi-smiling visage of Riley, Kore.]
Hey. It's me, obviously. Um, I was just thinking since there's new people arriving here and I know I haven't actually gotten to meet about half of the people currently here, maybe we could have a sort of... bake out?
I'm planning on going fishing today, so I could plan to grab enough for anyone wanting to come. I'd really like to see who's here that's willing to try to get together to figure out what exactly is going on and what we intend to do about it. We might be stuck here, but there's no reason we have to be secluded while we are.
[Except for hunters.Dean, this means you.]
I just think we might want to start acting a little more like we're all stuck here together instead of having ulterior motives or ones that, you know, completely screw with people when they go and do things by themselves.
[This might be directed at the Doctor and anyone involved with the event that had her freaking out like any animal during an earthquake/natural disaster. She was very not happy with you.]
It may be ridiculous to ask, but, hey, why not, right? If anyone wants to come, please do. If not, that's just more fish for me.

I'm flattered you trust me enough to suggest it, in fact. Whatever makes you most comfortable suits me fine.

[She smiles up at him, glad he's not only taking it well, but that it actually seems okay to him. It's nice to have someone here that knows and doesn't care. At least, not in the 'oh my god, kill it with fire' kind of way, which would be hilarious considering the whole double burning wheel
with googly eyesthing.]If it wouldn't probably kill me, I'd want to see what you look like.
no subject
Truly. Don't.
[A moment later he's softened again, though, and chuckles.] I wish you could. Maybe when I come visit your lagoon in Heaven, hm?
no subject
[She grinned, hand resting lightly on his arm.] If I wind up in heaven, and that's a big if, and you can come visit me? I'd like that. Then maybe you can see my family. I think you'd like them. I know my dad would find you utterly fascinating and pester you with questions forever.
no subject
Angels are very powerful. Even the ones that moon evil overlords. Just don't forget that.
I'd like to meet your family, though. I'd even answer questions, if I'm allowed to have a drink during the interrogation.
no subject
[She's more than amused with where their conversation is going, happy to be tucked in against him as she tries to both make him feel better and take her own bit of comfort from his company.]
My mom's the lawmaker. I'd like to see what she thinks of you. I'm almost afraid to introduce you to my brothers...
no subject
Why? I won't bite your family, promise.
no subject
Oh, it's not them I'm worried about. It's you. Finn might just pull your shirt up and demand to see wings. [She wouldn't put it past him.]
no subject
no subject
Do you have wings, though? I mean, real ones?
no subject
Yes, I do have wings. Do you want to see the shadows?
no subject
[She sits up, looking at his back.] Can I do that? I mean, am I allowed? Is that all I can see? Can I touch them?
[Seems her dad wouldn't be the only one barraging him with questions.]
no subject
Once he feels he's close enough, there's a soft, heavy rustle, and shadows spread behind him, indicating a pair of wings somewhere between twelve and eighteen feet in span. The shadows are pale in the bright sunlight, but the shapes of the primaries are distinct, and when a breeze whistles past, some of the tips seem to ruffle in silhouette.]
no subject
She couldn't, of course, but she moved to run her hands over his back nonetheless.]
Wow. Is this where I say something about how impressive your wingspan is?
no subject
It's a quantum-mechanical trick. Schroedinger's wings. [He explains mildly, trailing off at the touch along his back. That feels nice, and he gives a soft hum of appreciation.]
no subject
Schrodinger's wings? I guess that's a somewhat apt analogy. They're there, but they're not there, but they're both until one or the other is proven, but that can't be done without opening the angel from the box, right?
no subject
You're spoiling me, you know.
no subject
[She smiled and kept rubbing over his back, not too hard, but hard enough that it should help ease any tension it carried.]
Not like I get to just curl up with everyone here, you know. I'm not used to being alone.
no subject
But I'm happy to oblige, any time. You know, if you call my name, I can hear you. If you're ever in a jam or looking for a friend.
no subject
[She hadn't known about that, but it was a nifty little thing to have as a notation.] I didn't know that, but I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever feeling tragically alone.
no subject
Let's sit again. And, yes. Keep me in mind if you ever feel tragic.
no subject
How long do you think it will take until you're better?
no subject
Oh, I don't know. I wouldn't think any longer than another day or two. Don't worry about me, love. I'll be fine.
no subject
Yes, sure. Okay. Fine. I'll just not worry because you told me to.
[Hear that? That's sarcasm, Balthazar.]
